We're planning on going in April, probably 4 nights staying in DLH. What aree the 4 best places to eat in the evening? We want to do Buffalo Bills, Auberge de Cendrillon and Walt's, how about a 4th? Or should we eat in the hotel one night, or do a lunch one day instead?

We've been before so our priority is to see new stuff, old favourites and shows/parades, but also to take time to enjoy food etc rather than being commando.

All suggestions welcome!

I actually really enjoyed Planet Hollywood. We paid €22 each for a main and a drink (no starter or dessert), but I felt the quality was good and filling.

Another suggestion would be Rainforest Cafe, simply for the awesome theming.

We are another family that always visit Annette's Diner

In the Park - Inventions (with great view to Main Street / Castle / Fireworks)

Outside - Annette's!

if you have kids inventions is the best choice in my opinion. great buffet and characters during the dinner.

We really enjoyed Planet Hollywood, the kids loved the film memorabilia and trying to guess which films they came from, Cafe Mickey for character interaction and I would love to try Inventions one night. :)

I would say cafe mickey was the best one we went to for fun and characters if I manage to go back which I want that is where I am going for the first night total fun from start to finish and the food is good and meeting the characters here is much better than the scrum in the park

I'm really glad to hear you say that, because I've just booked Cafe Mickey for me and DD for our first evening meal there too :goodvibes .

I agree about the scrum too, last time we got all our autographs and photos with the characters from a character meal, our hotel, and the studios. The Park scrums were terrible.

we always go to planet hollywood, really quick service and great food.

just try to get seated upstairs as it is much nicer than downstairs!

we also like rainforest cafe, but havent been for about a year now as the queues were sometimes very lengthy!

i would say rainforest, planet hollywood, king ludwick's castle and the hard rock. the food at buffalo bill's is good, but i would reccomend you have a snack before, there is not much to choose from there.

Anette's is good for lunch and early evening. It gets very busy from about 7.00 - 8.00pm.

On a night I'd probably go to Planet Hollywood or The Rainforest Cafe.

You could always try a hotel restaurant :goodvibes

There is no Hardrock Cafe at DLP.

I do recommend Cafe Mickey, and the portions are huge!!!!!!! So think twice before you order appetizer, after the appetizer I was already full!

A resort-favourite of us is Cape Cod. Also Manhattan, but that one has gotten rather expensive. I ate well at Yacht Club, but it might not be the right choice with smaller children.

Have you thought about Blue Lagoon? Or the Steakhouse, as well in the park as in the Village, both were good (the After Eight dessert in the village is to die for!) The one in the Village has a Sunday character brunch.

Planet Hollywood do fantastic ribs, if you don't mind getting very messy! (Hey, it's Disney, why not?!) :goodvibes

ive only ever eaten in the hard rock in orlando (twice) and yes it was nice, but cant comment for anywhere else lol - u generaly find the hard rock's at universal resorts, not at disney ;)
