Best Evening Entertainment for Adults?

In November, my husband and I will be taking our third 3 night Disney cruise. We are newly empty nesters, so this is the first time it will be just the two of us. We love to just sit on the decks and read, but can anyone suggest club entertainment at night that might be oriented toward adults, not families. I was hoping there would be a comedian in Wavelengths, but after no responses to another post, I'm afraid that will not happen. I should mention that we are not dancers.

It is not really possible to say exactly what entertainment will be available onboard when you cruise....so it is hard for people to say what would be best for you. We enjoyed the clubs at night as they usually had a theme night like 70's night or 80's night...you don't have to dance, you can just watch....there are also game shows for adults like Match Your Mate, which is like the Newlywed Game that used to be on TV.

Don't give up on going to any evening entertainment just because you got few responses to your other post....your best bet would be to consult your Navigator when onboard and it will list what entertainment will be on your cruise.

Maybe the "Best evening entertainment" will lead you to no longer being empty nesters....

Don't remember what it was called, but the CM's did an adults only comedy show on the last night of our four night. If this is an option, it is really funny and just a little bit bawdy. We laughed our fool heads off.

Also, enjoyed watching family karaoke. Some of the kids who went up were really talented! That's not really adults only, but it was definitely better than the showings at the adults only karaoke.

My husband and I went to the comedy club (forgot what it's called) and the comedian they had was a scream! It is maybe PG rated-it's still Disney, after all. If you don't want to be part of a possible "audience participation", though, sit at the back!

The last night of the 7 nighters in Diversions have a hularios skit at 10:30.....We did the 70's and 80's nights also was funny.......If you look close enough you can see Ron (Lampy) Bon Jovi on stage :rotfl2:

a relaxing drink in the paino bar, some favorite tunes, a nice way to wrap up the evening. I did not care for Kenne, I think his name was, on the Wonder back in January, I think he found his "personality" more interesting and entertaining than it was, but on other cruises I have enjoyed a simple Bobby Darin tune or a Sinatra standard. And in the interest of fair disclosure, I have been ages 38-41 on my Disney cruises.

There's lots of fun nights in Rockin' Bar D,.............check it out!! :cool1:
