I voted for Coral Reef. Out of all of the EPCOT table service restaurants it has consistently the best, most interesting, well prepared food and the ambience and setting really can't be beat. I used to really like Marrakesh but the last time I went it wasn't as good as it had been.

I've never understood the love that Le Cellier gets on this board. IMO, it's the most overrated restaurant in WDW. The steak is decent (about what you'd get at an Outback or Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn, really) and some of the soups and sides are pretty good, but it's not spectacular, and besides that the ambience is pretty poor. To each their own, but if I'm going to lay out $$$ for a steak it's not going to be at Le Cellier, especially when the Yachtsman and Shula's are just down the path.

Funny, but most think great meals end and begin with steak and a baked potato. Their idea of fancy is sauteed mushrooms on the steak and cheese with bacon bits on their potato.

I think the thing with Le Cellier (and I also voted Coral Reef for many of the same reason as you) is the fact the menu appeals to the masses who want meat and potatoes. The menu at Le Cellier is not too adventurous, and the foods are common to most people's tastes. Everyone can go to Le Cellier and get a good meal, even those who are considered "picky". It is popullar because it IS average. No more, no less.

i want to tryp le cellier but everytime i go no matter how far in advance i try to make a ressie they are allllllllways booked!

Voted Le Cellier, but only for variety, even steven with Teppan Edo, and Coral Reef.

I can't vote for my favorite because its not on the poll - Bistro de Paris.

My vote lies with the Coral Reef, it has the greatest Lobster Bisque, at least in my opinion.

I know cliche- but you can not fight the facts. LeCellier wins! Now if Bistro de Paris where on there it might be a different story...

Yes, it wins the poll, but that does not make it the best restaurant.....just the most popular. Popularity is different than being the best. People are drawn to Le Cellier because the meat and potatoes heavy menu is familiar to most, even the picky eaters usually find something edible at Le Cellier. Most popular TS in Epcot, yes; best TS in Epcot, no.

We've been to all but Germany. We enjoy Teppan Edo for dinner and Restaurant Marrakesh for lunch.

I voted for Biergarten. I love the food, the atmosphere, and the band. The first time we went I didn't think I would like it b/c of the way they seat you. However, I have really enjoyed everytime we've eaten there. Sometimes we've eaten with people that just want to keep to themselves, which was fine. Other times we've had a great time with a nice family and had fun running into them the rest of the trip. The first time we ate there it was just me and my DH and we sat with people from Germany. We had an absolute blast!! We always do this at least once on our trip, and really try and do it twice per trip.

That being said, it is only one of two restaurants I've eaten at in EPCOT and the other one is now closed. My opinion may change after our upcoming trip. We will be on the DlxDDP and we are planning at using most of our credits at EPCOT. I can't wait!!
Me too I loved the food and the atmosphere and the entertainment, Le Cellier and Chefs are a very close second !!

Agree completely! Love Shula's -- that place has great steak! :goodvibes

I voted for Akershus. If I could get rid of the Princesses, I'd be even happier! If I could rank, Biergarten is second.

Maybe it's just because I know there are better steak, Japanese, and Chinese restaurants around me, but no good -- actually none!! :rotfl: -- Norwegian or German places.

Ok, but you can't compare Shula's to Le Cellier though. That would be like comparing Capt. Jack's to Blue Zoo for seafood. Each restaurant has a role to play in WDW, but can't be fairly compared because quality, service and price are not in the same range.

Of course I can! :goodvibes

Seriously, how many million times have we read Nine Dragons is no good because there are better Chinese restaurants in my hometown/down the street/anywhere else? :rotfl:

My point is LC has good steak; not great. I think it's popular because it's familiar and quite a few of the others at EC aren't for the picky eater. The poll is about opinions on TS; gave mine and pretty sure there are lots to agree and lots to disagree with me! ;)
