Best DVC Resort

Question---Which resort do you think is the best---BWV, BCV, VWL, or OKW---and why?

The best is the one or ones you currently own or are planning to buy. Otherwise you wouldn't own them or buy them.

It all depends on which one I'm staying at on my next trip.

If I'm at BWV, I enjoy the theme of the resort, the activities and restaurants available on the boardwalk and the easy access on foot to both Epcot and MGM.

If I'm at BCV, I enjoy the decor of the rooms, the resort theme and the proximity to Epcot and access to MGM with an easy walk.

If I'm at VWL, I enjoy the wooded theme, the warm/cozy decor of the rooms and the easy access to MK by boat.

If I'm at OKW, I enjoy the decor and spacious feel of the villas, the quiet golf course and water views and the easy access to Downtown Disney by boat or on foot.

This reminds me of lyrics to an old song ..."love the one you're with."

WLV of course. Then again we own there. There again we have never been to any other DVC ressorts. Webmaster Doc has a good take on them all.

Well, you can't sit on the fence even if there are gators on all sides!

Best resort for us is BCV:

SAB Access
Close to Epcot (tied for fav park) - World Showcase etc.
Close to Boardwalk
Close to Swan and Dolphin - lots of dining choices there as well
Not too far to Disney-MGM
Fairly Central location in general
Nice calm themes

But this is almost splitting hairs because the other three are great resorts in their own rights as well but here is our rank:

1) BCV
2) OKW
3) BWV
4) VWL

What is best for one person is worst for another. They all have their pros and cons, it all depends on what is important to you on vacation, what fits best into your wants and needs while on vacation. Your traveling wants and needs often changes from trip to trip also depending on the group, time of year etc. I can tell you what resorts give me what I want and desire on vacation and what is important to me and what is of very little consequence to me in a DVC resort but that does not mean it is the best it is just the best for me and what I prefer. Your take on the whole thing could be entirely different and your resort priorities could be the exact opposite of mine.
The best resorts for me, in order of preference are:
BWV or BCV, to me they are so similiar it is really splitting hairs
next VWL and last is OKW.
Why these preferences? Because I am a person who wants convenience and ease and all deluxe resort amenities when I am on vacation. While I love the larger 1 BR units at OKW the trade off of losing the much more superior location and resort amenities is not worth it at all to me and the parking in front of the unit is not even an issue because I prefer not to have to drive while at WDW. VWL is below BWV and BCV because it offers less convenience to parks and restaurants, entertainment, etc
