I called to make ressies today and ALL DVC resorts are available for June 3-8!!! Good "problem" to have. We have stayed at SSR and Boardwalk thus far and loved them both. I would like to try a "new" DVC but I am now torn on where to book. We plan on spending a day or possibly 2 at the resort enjoying the pool and community hall. OKW is very tempting to book because of the low point total and location to DTD. How does the pool at OKW rank against the others? VWL is also very appealing! I did LOVE the location of Boardwalk but like I said- done that. BCV is a possibilty but only the first 3 night are available so I would have to move over to BWV during mid trip. Whose done that and would you do it again? Advise....

go with BCV - that pool is the best!

Plus the flower/garden festavial is going to be happening at Epcot - go to a concert!!!!

didn't answer your other question.

OKW is a wonderful resort for relaxing - so go to BCV then OKW.

the slide seems to be pretty popular.

Has anyone split reservations on a 6 day trip (3 and 3). Seems like it may be more trouble than it's worth. Also- does Beach Club have a water slide for the kids? I know about the beach and lazy river.

Flower show ends on June 3rd this year.

We haven't used it, but I know that people have talked about a smaller kiddie slide over at SAB. If I had a car, I would do a split stay, that's my criteria, if I had a car. I'm doing a split stay in June, by choice. I like SAB enough to do that, sv BWV for the rest of the stay!

What size accomodations are you looking at? We are thinking of going that week and it is nice to know there is still a lot of availability. We have only stayed at OKW and BCV but are thinking of trying VWL soon. The low points at OKW are great and the kids really like the slide there.

1 bedroom unit. everything is available except for bcv (it is available for the first 3 nights). so i am considering doing a split stay unless something at bcv came up on the waitlist. then i wouldn't need to move- obviously.

There is a slide that starts on the pirate ship across the walkway on the beach and ends in one end of the SAB pool. There is a separate small slide as mentioned for younger children over on the beach side near the bottom of the ship. We actually split a reservation once so we had just one night at BCV so we could use that pool on check in and out days. It was the last night of the trip. The rest of the trip we spent at OKW because we like it best and because the rooms are bigger and the points are lower and the relaxed feeling is presernt, especially for a 1 bedroom or above. Good luck with your decision - you really can't go wrong whatever you decide.

Too bad VAKL is not open. You are going in June when it is hot and humid, that would really go well with the African theme!

Booked it today. 3 days BCV and 3 days OKW. Never stayed at either one so looking forward to it. After this trip we will have stayed at all DVC except VWL, so I will be able to make a fair comparison. DWELTY, hopefuly it won't be hot as Africa. Regardless, the accomodations should be better. We have never done the water parks, so June should be prime time for it!
ps- ALL DVC resorts still have one bedrooms available for the first week in June!
