We went to Raglan for the first time last trip. Although I didn't leave saying it was the best meal of the trip, we had a nice time. There is a unique vibe, and it is great when they jump up on the platforms and dance. I would definitely recommend it. It might not be one of my top 3 places in all of WDW, but it would be on the top 10 for sure.
We love to eat at DTD! We usually do HOB (especially if it's my b-day!), TRex, RFC, or Fultons. Those are our favorites. I could eat at HOB today if we had one closer! YUM!!
I've had good experiences at RR, but what I crave every trip is a meal at HOB. I can't pass up the corn bread, jambalaya, shrimp and fish dishes.
Great soul/creole food in a neat New Orleans/bayou styled restaurant.
Among their table service locations we have been to the Rainforest Cafe and Fultons Crab House. Personally if we had to choose between them I would recommend Fultons Crab House.
We love Ragland Road and its turned into a "must do" for us every trip. I say stick with it. The scallop forest and the seafood chowder is fantastic and the Ger's Bread & Butter pudding is one of our top 3 Disney desserts.
As as second recommendation, I would go with WGP Cafe. Its also has always been consistently good for us.
These are also both on the dining plan if you are using it.
If you're on the DDP there's a limited amount of TS dining options for DTD which is a shame.
We tried Raglan Road last year and it was OK. The appetizers and desserts (we were on DxDP) were very good, however the entres were lacking for all of us.
I have always enjoyed Wolf Gang Pucks cafe.. the food has always been delicious.
A few times we thought about Cap'n Jacks, but never went. Anyone out there have any opinons, comments, reviews of Cap'n Jacks?
I really loved Wolfgang Puck Cafe (first floor). I had the macadamia nut crusted chicken and it was fantastic and so was the carrot cake for dessert. I think we'll go here again when we are at Disney in August!
