Earl's is a hidden gem! Very inexpensive, great portions, amazing sandwiches and soup and a fun (loud) atmosphere!

We love WPE over EoS. Not that EoS is bad..it's just way too much bread or maybe the taste of the bread . We ate at WPE this summer (twice) and really enjoyed the pizzas, lasanga and that meatloaf looked good. The mac & cheese I wouldn't eat and neither would my 10 or 3 yo DDs. I'd like to try it for breakfast sometime. It's our favorite CS...anywhere!

I love Wolfgang Puck's. I especially like the location at West Side because you can sit out on the patio, and it's a prime spot for people watching! Oh yeah, and the food is great, too.

The sandwich is an underrated experience. There is nothing quite like a good sandwich place. Especially one with mango smoothies!

I don't get the hype over Earl. It's chips and a sandwich! They aren't as good as any other sandwich chain, IMO, and they are sticklers on the DDP more so than any other place we went.

We ate at both in the same day. Food, menu, variety, and service were miles better at WPE. Earl has sandwiches, they're fine but nothing different then you get at home. WPE has a great variety of really good foods and unique items.

We LOVE earl, but I haven't tried WGP yet. I will have to try it on this trip. Although, we say that every trip, and haven't yet made it...we just don't spend as much time on the west end as in the marketplace.

WPE is right next to Earl's - there is one in the Marketplace and in the West Side. =)
