Is Discovery Cove the only park near WDW which has a "Swim with the Dolphins" experience?

Can anyone recommend a place for my family to visit on our upcoming trip? At $259.00 per. person, Discovery Cove is a bit too pricey for us right now.

Thanks in advance.

Is there something at the living seas at Epcot?
It seems like there was and I just can't remember.
Check the Discovery Cove board for discount codes.

We just went on Thursday, and were leery of the price as well but it was worth every penny. It also has free parking, free breakfast, lunch, snacks, and all the pepsi and anheiser busch products you can drink.

Do you think Discovery Cove offers a cheaper price per. person package if we do not include a visit to Sea World with our package?

I don't believe so; they include 7 days to SeaWorld or Busch Gardens Tampa as "free." You can upgrade this to both parks for $30, and if you select Busch Gardens Tampa it does include a free shuttle from the SeaWorld parking lot.

Of course, it never hurts to ask; I called a couple of times with questions and the people who answered the phone were always quite friendly and helpful.

They do offer a dophin encounter at Epcot - which is cheaper than Discovery Cove - there are details on the main Disney website if you navigate to Epcot and look under Tours. However you do have to be age 13 or over, which was no good for us as I wanted our 12 year old son to go. I rang up and they said there was no exceptions to this rule!

I called them today. They were very nice, but unfortunately told me that me eleven year-old daughter was not old enough for the "Dolphin Swim". I think the three hour tour was very reasonably priced too. I guess that experience will have to wait 'til our next trip to Disney trip. :sad1:

What about the Beluga swim? They are beautiful and as nice as the dolphins! Seaworld does this and it is not as expensive as the dolphin swim. Inaddition, you don't have to pay to watch! If it is just a couple of family members going , then the other can watch. You do still have to purchase a ticket for Seaworld, but not nearly as much! At the end you get a book and t-shirt!
