Best Disneyland Parking?

Hi, Everyone! I've been doing a lot of research, reading the forums, and checking out maps of Disneyland Parking, and I would love to hear your opinions on where the best place to park at Disneyland is.

We will be staying at the Newport Beach Marriott, so we'll have a twenty to thirty minute drive, every morning. We will also not have any Early Entries, since we will probably have the Three Day Military Hoppers.

We will be visiting Disneyland on Monday October 22nd, then we'll be attending the Halloween Party on the 23rd, then California Adventures on Wednesday the 24th, followed by one more day in Disneyland on Thursday, the 25th.

So, with this information, what would be your strategy for parking? Which parking area and how early? (We would like to be in the parks as early as we can.) Any amazing help/hints/tips?

We go quite often and prefer the Toy Story Parking lot. I hate that you have to push your way through for a spot on the tram and the bus area at the TS Lot is very organized and you never have to wait very long.

I've been wondering the same thing. Would you say that it's easier to take a folded double stroller on the bus or on the tram?

I have always preferred TS as it's a lot less crowded and always quicker than the tram. I also think a stroller is much easier to handle on the bus as there is more room, rather than fight for the first row on the tram.

How early do the lots open? Say I have MM, and want to be at the gates by 6:40. Could we park at 6:20 and catch a bus?

I love the Simba lot, it's right off the I-5, but I don't think it's always open. And it fills quickly. There has always been a bus waiting for us.

We parked at the Mickey structure a few months ago. In the morning, we were there early and got a big spot with a folded double stroller. When we left both girls were asleep in the stroller and the tram line was crowded. There is a really nice walkway you can take, walking behind DTD. We did have to cross one busier street right at the structure, but it had a crosswalk.

I prefer Mickey & Friends but it really depends I suppose. I have seen people with strollers get onto the trams but it can be difficult unless you get a spot that has the double doors and seats facing one another. People do tend to rush to get onto the trams, but really it isn't that much of a wait imo. I have found that sometimes Mickey and Friends will be closed so Toy Story Lot is one that seems to be open the most (?)

I feel like Toy Story Lot takes a tad bit longer than the tram does, and I've only really had to wait for a tram when I wanted to get back to the parking structure and it really was only like a 5-7 minute wait.

I think with strollers it's easy to use M&Fs because the trams are more flexible allowing non-folded strollers on board. With the TS lot you must fold your stroller so it can be more difficult.
I personally prefer the TS lot because it's generally faster.
