Best Disney Restaurant. Period.

The o.p. did ask for best period. I have to go with club 33. Lucky enough to have eaten there in 1997. Great meal.

:worship::worship:

This is on my bucket list.

Back to the post:

The best restaurant to us is:

BOMA

yes, it is a buffet. No, it is not fancy.
BUT, it is a MUST DO for us every trip!!

I am going to say Chefs de France. IMO you simply can't beat the pre fix menu for lunch....... french onion soup, that AWESOME mac and cheese, and creme brulee..... throw in a good bottle of wine to share with dh...:cloud9: I also love sitting by the windows..... get to see everybody walking by. and Remy if you time it right..... Plus the hot French waiters aren't bad either!:thumbsup2

Biergarten!! :goodvibes

Reasons:
-Authentic and delicious German food...even my grandfather would have been impressed with the food there...and having a mother who came from Germany, he was VERY picky about German food.
-Fantastic entertainment...the adults and the kids all enjoy it
-Beautiful atmosphere...feels like you are outside in Germany, when in reality you are in cool comfy air conditioning
-Terrific service, even though it is a buffet
-Kid-friendly foods on the buffet in addition to the many German selections
-Beer flight is fantastic! :thumbsup2

Haven't been to a signature yet (unless you count CRT), but we're planning to try 2 on our July trip...definitely Yachtsman and leaning toward Cali Grill for the second one.

Narcoossees!!!

a very close second for DH and I is Liberty Tree Tavern but that is just for sentimental reasons really. :goodvibes

For us it's California Grill. We go to other signature restaurants, but CG is our #1!!!

le cellea (misspelled that) but the best steak and potatoes anywhere plus the pretzel bread

Okay--besides V&A....

And I don't think you specified TS or CS...

Counter Service would be that place in Liberty Square...Columbia Harbour House?

TS....once upon a time it was the Bistro, but we didn't like it as much the last time we at there. (Upstairs restaurant in France).

And I am having a hard time picking a TS because none stand out as a place that was super fab and the Bistro just doesn't cut it for me anymore. I know that we always enjoy the Rose and Crown when we go for some yummy British food. So I might go with that though some might think it a weird choice.

Ya'll are making me HUNGRY!

Whispering Canyon for me, hands down. Love that place.
CRT is a close second.

And to be honest, I loved 50's Prime Time on our trip last month!!

V & A chef's table would of course be my first pick.
My second pick is Wolfgang Puck's "the dining room" which is upstairs above the Cafe. The food is wonderful, they have a great wine list, and it's very relaxing. As a side note, they don't take the dining plan but they do take Tables in Wonderland.

Yep, I would have picked V&A. Close second is Bistro de Paris.

Never eaten at some of the fancier places, but of all the places we have eaten we have a tie between Ohana and 50sPTC

So many of our all-time favorites are are either gone or have declined in recent years. Of the current choices there are a few that we still look forward to and some that are almost as good as they used to be.

Fulton's and Raglan Road are our current favorites.

We still go to:
Rose & Crown
Narcoossee's
Biergarten
Hoop-Dee-Doo
Kona Cafe (breakfast)
Crystal Palace (breakfast)

It used to be hard to fit all our favorites into a 10-day vacation, and that was table service for every meal. If we were to go for 10 days now I suspect we would go off-property for half our meals.
