Best dish you've ever had at a WDW restaurant...

Just for fun, tell me the best dish at a Disney restaurant you've ever had. It does not have to be gourmet, or even a sit-down meal...it may also be a dessert!!

My favorite would probably be a tie between the honey paprika pork at Citricos and the mushroom filet at Le Cellier. Calif. Grille also is a favorite place...some of the best mussels we ever had (the flatbreads are pretty yummy as well).

The best meal I ever had in WDW was in France in Epcot. I had beef burgundy that just melted in your mouth. Best dessert was at Coral Reef. It was some sort of volcano made of chocolate that oozed chocolate fudge.

If I were forced to choose just one I'd have to go with the pork tenderloin w/ balsamic mushrooms and creamy polenta at California Grille. Best dessert EVER (inside WDW or out) was the millenium dessert at the Coral Reef: raspberry champagne sorbet inside a dark chocolate Spaceship Earth. Mmmmm!!!!!! Totally depressed that one didn't survive Y2K!

would have to go with the Mahi Mahi ala Veracruzana (sp) from San Angel Inn. It was spectacular. First time I had Mahi Mahi, and I fell in love. Got the Sopa Azteca to go with it, and I was in heaven. A Dos Equis on the side and it was incredible. I cannot say enough - one week from today I will be having it again!!

I would have to say that my second favorite dish was the jerk chicken from Captain's Tavern (now Shutters) at CBR. Served with skin on parmesean mashed potatoes and green beans. It was out of this world. Will also be going back there next week!!!

Pan Roasted Monkfish (with vegetables of the moment, Crispy Parsnips and Tomato Butter Sauce) at Jiko.
Also best dessert - "Afrikaanse" Milk Tart (with dried cherry broth and toasted nuts) also from Jiko
It was all to die for.....yum!

A lunch special at Brown Derby of: Pacific Salmon, garlic mash potatoes and asparagus. Served with a glass of Fess Parker wine. (Actually the wine was only a B+) All items were cooked to my liking.

Sit down dinner- Kona Cafe, Beef Terryaki, sticky rice, fried onions & spinach

Breakfast-Tie... Tonga Toast at Kona or Cream Cheese French Toast at Cindys

Lunch/Light Meal- Tie... Sticky wings from Kona, or Taco Salad at ASMO Food Court

Snack-Tie...Dole Whip or Beavertail

Why can I never pick just 1 thing when it comes to these food threads?

Oh boy...

Breakfast: Memere's French Toast at the now-gone Bonfamille's at Port Orleans. We liked it betteer than Tonga Toast.

Entrees: Free-range Chicken at California Grille and Filet Mignon at LeCellier were beyond outstanding.

Dessert: Chocolate Hazelnut Pyramid at California Grille. Incomparable.

Here's another vote for Tonga Toast at Kona for breakfast!

Also liked the burgers at the Plaza Restaurant MK - the banana split was to die for here (even if it is simple!) and our server was one of the best waitresses I've EVER had. She deserved every cent of her tip.

I haven't eaten in many other places yet, but would like to try some of those desserts you all keep mentioning!!

Artist's Point's Cedar Plank Salmon-it is the best salmon I've ever had (and I've have salmon at many places).

Desserts are a tie. Once again Artist's Point's chocolate bread pudding-to die for but I also love O'Hana's super rich chocolate mousse thingy.

No question about it--the Cedar Plank Salmon at Artist Point. My second favorite is the Pork Loin at California Grille. Both were great meals!

My third favorite is the tortilla soup at the San Angel (Mexican) restaurant in Epcot.

It was a simple dish - but I really enjoyed it.

A citrus/avacodo salad at the Bomo buffet...

It was grapefruit & orange (I think) & sliced avacodo in a dressing - it was so unusual and so good kept getting more.

Oyster Brie Soup and a Cobb Salad for Lunch at The Hollywood Brown Derby. Too bad they only make the Soup on special request anymore...

oh yes, that's right, the best salads I've ever had are the Cobb at Brown Derby and second to that would be the chinois chicken salad at Wolfgang Puck.

Best Place for my sweet tooth is the BW Bakery esp. the vanilla donut rings.

The Pan Asian Pasta at Kona Cafe was outstanding

The bread pudding at lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern was out of this world

The zebra domes at Boma are wonderful too

Porterhouse at Shula's. The BBQ Shrimp wrapped in bacon appetizer was awesome too!

I've seen some raves about the cedar plank salmon at AP and I thought it was pretty good but would you believe I (by far) preferred a salmon offering at LTT (lunch)? It had some kind of squash confetti on top. That was my all time favorite entree at WDW. I will check their menu each time I walk by now to see if they are offering the salmon that day. On that day I will drop all plans in order to eat there.

Desserts--creme brulee at Le Cellier. The rest of the family would say zebra domes from Boma.

We have so MANY!!!
My hubby's all time favorite dinner was the King Crab Claws at Fultons Crab House. I had a very tasty steak... (I am totaly allergic to shellfish...)
I can't pin mine down to any one, but we always go the the Missing link sausage place in Pleasure Island... I'm not sure why we like it so much. I don't eat sausages as a rule, but theirs are very tasty.
We also enjoyed the Crystal place. I think for the overall atmosphere more than just the quality of the food.

Tusker House gets a very close 2nd (grilled chicken salad)

The Best Sit Down: Prime Time Cafe
The amount of food I got for the $ was great.
Plus, we went on my BDay and all my "cousins" sang me "Happy Birthday" and we all chatted while we ate. A lot of nice people that day.

Best Character Dining Experience: Garden Grill
Loved the food and Chip n Dale were all over us..lots of interaction time.
