My family is planning a trip for Sept 2014 and praying for free dining. My estimate for our group (4a/4c) rack rate, 7dph, ddp at POR is $7500. Free dining drops us to about $5600. I priced out the stay/play/dine offer this morning just to see if it would be better than free dining. I came up with $5769 and that is counting the fact that one of the kids is a 2yr old under s/p/d and 3yr in free dining estimate.
Is free dining always going to be the best deal for our group? I think we will pray for it to come around one more time so we can take advantage. I hope to do as many table services as possible because once the 9yr old becomes a dis adult it creates a whole new wrinkle.
