Best directions from Kissimee to MK???

I've read some horror stories about routes to and from WDW. What are your suggestions of routes to take from Kissimmee that won't get us snarled in traffic or waste half our day?? First timer here needs all the advice I can get!!!

Depends on where in Kissimee you'll be staying. I believe Poinciana Blvd takes you to Osceola Parkway, you pay a toll but it goes right into the "World" and we made the trip from condo to parking lot in under 10 mins every day.

We've stayed in Kissimmee numerous times in various locations along 192 both East and West of I-4 and at various times of year. We've never encountered any significant delays just taking 192 to the WDW exit which leads you directly onto property. Also, all of the 192 construction that was ongoing for the past several years is finally completed which has helped a lot.

We were just there over Thanksgiving, and stayed in a house between markers 13 & 14. We just took 192 to 535 (Vineland) then left onto 536. That went right into The World, and not all the 192 traffic. (And no tolls)
