I would recommend the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. I saw it for the first time in September with a 3 and 4 year old girl and 8 1/2 year old boy (and 5 adults) and we ALL had a great evening! It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed the food too.

DH and I are going to make ADR's for our trip in December (he wasn't able to go on our last trip and hasn't seen it before).

Whatever you decide I am sure you will have a great time!

I would suggest chef mickeys. We had a lot of fun there and it is a great chance to see Mickey without waiting in the gosh awful lines that form to see him. It is a buffet and we thought the food was pretty good.
Also, we thought LTT was lots of fun. Its served family style so its close to a buffet and all of the characters are dressed in period costumes.. so cute!

My son was 9 when we went to Hoop Dee Doo last summer and he really enjoyed the show. The humor is really corny and the jokes are very much suited for kids (although most adults enjoy it as well). The CM's from the show go out into the audience so even if you are in the back or at the balcony, you can get a good up close view at some point of the show. One of the gals sang to my DH and I missed the photo op!

We thought the food was pretty good and they give LOTS of it! Fried chicken, BBQ ribs, baked beans, mixed greens, corn bread and they make a big presentation with the strawberry shortcake dessert! Keep your cameras ready and look-out for your waiter!

Hoop Dee Doo Review is great for all ages!!! My boys loved it we have gone twice 2003 & 2005 and are going this year as well!!!!

I think onsite, there are only 2 dinner shows, the Hoop Dee Doo at Fort Wilderness and the Luau at the Poly.

I think the kids would prefer the Hoop Dee Doo. Its a lot of fun!

HDDR is the way to go!! The kids will love it!
