We plan to visit all 4 main Disneyworld Parks this summer. What are you favorite desserts? Open to anything except ice cream and not likely to do too many sit down restaurants so looking for desserts not at a sit down.

Well, when you take ice cream and TS restaurants out of the mix you pretty take what I would suggest out. I do love to go to the pastry shop in France at Epcot (but only if I'm not going to the ice cream shop). I love the grapefruit cake as HBD at HS - you can get it at the lounge outside.

All the sweet snacks at Epcot. Caramel everything at Germany, Les Halles for pastries in France, pastries in Norway or at Sunshine Seasons. I feel like there must be specialty cupcakes around lots of places, including resorts and DS.

1. The crêpes at Epcot’s kiosk in France (ask for light toppings)

2. Surprisingly, the Cotton Candy outside Muppets in 3D at HS (or perhaps anywhere). I’ve never had cotton candy that had a berry flavor. Found myself eating far too much of it.

3. So many choices at Big Top Souvenirs in MK, I’m sure you’ll find at least three things there.

The Shine cake at Homecomin. It is also available at their to-go window. It is served with a scoop of ice cream, but you could ask them to leave it off.

School Bread-Norway Epcot

It didn't appeal to me at first but when I tried it it was love at first bite!

I really liked the school bread. I had it for breakfast. It wasn't too sweet but was perfect with a Viking Coffee (hey it was noon time in Norway, so obviously it's OK). Though if one isn't a fan of coconut I would steer clear.

Just a few other suggestions that I know about (go to Disney Food Blog when you have the chance):
-Cheshire Cat Tail at Cheshire Cafe (think long chocolate croissant with chocolate chips & pink & purple icing)
-Cinnamon Roll at Gaston's Tavern (shareable, haven't tried it, you can ask for extra icing)
-Pineapple Lumpia at Pongu Pongu (Enjoyed it but can be messy - filled w/ cream cheese &
pineapple)
-Sunshine Churros (Disney Springs - have not tried but heard good things)
-Cinnamon Roll at Kusifiri or Creature Comforts (shareable but different from the Gaston's one, have not tried)
-Lunch Box Tarts at Woody's Lunch Box (fancy version of pop tarts - have not tried)
-Just about any of the desserts at any of the EPCOT festivals (tried a few while there for Festival of the Holidays)

Is the no ice cream due to an allergy/intolerance? If so, then the Lumpia is clearly out of the question. But I do believe the pineapple dole whip is dairy free and the Pineapple Dole Whip Upside Down Cake from Aloha Isle is one I recommend (as long as your aversion to ice cream doesn't extend to other frozen treats like this).

Magic Kingdom:
Dole Whip or Pineapple Float made with Dole Whip at Aloha Terrace - Adventureland (also at Poly Resort)
I haven't had a waffle from Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square, but people swear by them

Epcot:
Cream Puff (or anything else) from Boulangerie Patisserie in France
School Bread from Kringla Bakeri in Norway

Animal Kingdom Lodge: Zebra Domes at Mara (also found at Boma dinner buffet)

Disney Springs: Anything from Amorette's Patisserie

Everything at Les Halles in Epcot. The enormous cookie at the Neighborhood bakery in HS. The half pound chocolate chip cookie at Polite Pig in DS.

chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies at Zuri’s Sweet Shop in AK (Africa)
Napoleon at Les Halles in France (or just about any pastry from there)
just about anything at Karamell Kuche in Germany

The triple chocolate salted pecan cookie at Krigla bakery. they will ask you if you want it warmed.

You do. You SO do.

Forgot to add.....even though you can find them at any Starbucks.......we became mildly obsessed with the lemon pound cake and the banana nut pound cake at the Starbucks in any of the parks. Was great to eat just as a treat or even to take back to your room as a treat with a cup of coffee.

Epcot:
France for pastry at Les Halles.

Honorable mention for best dessert at Disney (at a sit-down restaurant):
Chocolate Soufflé's at Shula's. My wife has been known to have one at the bar in the late evening.

Honorable mention for most unique dessert menu (at a sit-down restaurant):
BlueZoo. The blue dessert for children is memorable. They have a large bar-area too.

LOL, I was going to say: Walk into Les Halles. Close eyes. Point at Dessert Case. Enjoy.

I have never had the chance to try a Cheshire Cat Tail at MK, but that thing looks amazing! (And I've heard lots of good comments.)
