Best dessert at Skipper Canteen?

We've never been, so looking for suggestions for entrees too!

The first answer is depends what you like.
We have had the Head on Shrimp, my wife loved this. I had the Lamb Chops, very good.
She also liked the chicken and the noodle bowl with duck was very good.
Have not tried any of the desserts, so can't comment.

Make sure you walk through the other rooms. Very cool!

We had the lamb and the whole fried fish and really enjoyed them both. The lamb was perfectly cooked and not gamey. The fried fish (yellowtail snapper that day) was flaky and very fresh. For dessert, the Quick Sand was our favorite, but I love lemon curd, so maybe I'm not a fair judge. We also had the Kungaloosh, but we didn't like it much. It was basically a really dense brownie that was kind of dry. The ice cream that came with it was really good, though!

I had trout in a broth with veggies. It was delicious! Not a soup per se, just enough broth. We didn't try dessert, and I can't remember what everyone else ate. They all enjoyed though!

Ditto on the kungaloosh, it was very disappointing and the ice cream was delicious. I would stay away from it as well.

I hate an app for lunch, the Orinoco Ida's Cachapas were so delicious and well balanced, I still dream about them.

We had the lamb and pasta dish...very good and we also shared the kungaloosh for dessert...and our's was very good...not dry at all

The coconut bar dessert was fabulous and I'm not even a big fan of coconut!!

I was debating which dessert I want to try, or if I just want to go get a waffle sandwich or citrus swirl after my late lunch. I'll keep debating -- but the coconut bar is tempting!

For entrees, I've had the head on shrimp, tastes like chicken, and the steak. All very good! Of the 3 the tastes like chicken is probably my favorite. But, if you are looking for something tasty and on the lighter side, the head on shrimp would be my go to!!

If you're paying OOP, the specialty dessert you can get there looks really fun. I don't know how tasty it is though.
