What is your favorite dessert-type item in the World Showcase?

My other question is: If you walk into a TS restaurant, can you just order a dessert to go?

We're going to eat at Le Cellier and then watch Illuminations. The dessert menu at Le Cellier really doesn't do anything for me. So, I'm wondering if we walked into a different restaurant and just ordered dessert to go, would that be doable?

Italy's Canolli's

I think it would be, and all you can do is try. But if all else fales I know France has an AMAZING Bakery

We normally eat our dinner and then head to France's Bakery for dessert. The chocolate mousse is good, as are the Napoleon's, chocolate hazelnut mousse pie, fruit tart, creme brulee, etc. I love everything there and we normally take a box to go and bring them home with us (we only live a 2 hours away).

That sounds yummy!

The sweetpea loves grabbing a churro or cinnamon roll. I always grab some schoo bread.

It is my understanding that it's not possible to just order to-go desserts at the park TSs. I think a couple of the resort TSs used to do this, but I think they've even stopped, for the most part.

That said, most of the country's have some sort of CS place that will offer limited dessert options- and Norway and France have their incredibly yummy bakeries.

Thanks! :)

I am pretty easy to please so I would say the apple strudel smothered in the warm vanilla sauce from Beirgarten...I could just eat and eat that stuff!

DH says anything from the bakery in France.

When we go to TS places we never order dessert (not just because we are not on the dining plan) because we do not eat dessert at home. We may have a snack later in the night tho

We normally don't either. And when we eat out, we're usually way too full for dessert! But, at DW you have to splurge! :D
