Best deals for Staying at a Unniversal Hotel and park tickets?

We are hoping to stay two nights in a universal hotel next July (and also go back to Orlando within 12 months) Is it worth buying a Pemier annual pass for one of us which gets up to 30% off the hotels or would it just be cheaper to get a theme park ticket deal and pay the full hotel price?

You wouldn't need to buy the Premier Annual pass, just the Preffered. Room discounts with either.

I would say if you visit every year buy the AP. It is expensive for the 1st year unless you manage to get buy 1 year get 1 free as we did. 1st year $229.99 + tax but then only $109.99 + tax to renew. You then have free parking and admission for 365 days a year, plus great discounts.

If you are not planning on going every year then wait until the room discounts are announced for your dates. Work out then which is best option. This year offers on Netflights could not be beaten with AP rates.
