how do you get the best rates with no PIN?
When are you planning on going and what resort level are you planning on staying in?

Essentially, those two things are the main factor.

First, you can get a CAA membership which will enable you to get 10% to 20% off the room rate - depending on the resort level and vacation season (value season gets better discounts than regular season for example).

Also, make good use of mousesavers.com - during most seasons, except Holiday, and sometimes Peak - there is some sort of promotion by Disney. Currently, there is an offer that can be booked where upon purchasing a package with Base Tickets, they will be upgraded to Hoppers Water Parks and more tickets - if you had planned on this ticket level and are going within the next couple of months (the eligibility window for this offer) - you can save about $100 per person.

Really, as long as you DON'T go during Holiday or Peak season and plan in advance, you shouldn't ever have to pay full price.

We are trying to go in July and not sure which resort we are staying at.

Value season for your deluxe options start July 20th. Time around July 4th will most likely not be discounted as that is a peak holiday. At the very least, suggest to go after July 20th if you can.

Um, not one of the easier times.

All of July is "Summer Season" (in between Regular and Peak in terms of cost) at the Values, lowest rate is $109/night on Sun-Thurs (add $10 for Fri-Sat nights)

Moderates are also in Summer Season, and will run $179 at the lowest room level - again, add $10 for a Fri-Sat night rate.

Deluxe are harder to price, for those Regular Season is up to July 19 and Value season after that. So there you will need to know the dates - as you could be looking at two different pricing levels - also, each Deluxe has a different price structure with the Poly, Grand Floridian and Contemporary generally the most expensive and Animal Kingdom and Wilderness Lodge the "cheapest" of the Deluxe resorts.

There are still some discounts in July - maybe not as good as at other times of the year - and avoid the 4th of July just 'cuz!

There should be a thread in this forum for the July code watch - keep tabs on that and mousesavers - it's your best shot.

Good luck.
