I see that on-line you can buy adult tickets for the price of children tickets. Can I get this deal in-person? We are staying 3 nights at the NIck Hotel and I'm not sure if the kids will want to leave to go to Seaworld.

Also, is Seaworld "doable' in one day, without a plan?

Finally, the Seaworld dining plan, does it include counter and sit-down service?

Sea World can be seen in one day, but you usually need two days to catch all the shows. Sea World does do the second day free.

There's only 2 sit downs at Sea World, the Sharks underwater grill and the Luau dinner show. Those are not included in the all day dining. The all day dining is for all the counter services in the park (i think, pretty much). It'll pay for itself with two pass throughs the line. After your third, you'll start saving money by having it.

Southwest Frequent Fklyer card gets you 20% off at the door. Your best bet. You can get a card even if you never fly SW, and just print from net.

2nd day is always free. Get your one day pass validated at Cust Serv booth in park. You have up to 7 days to use the 2nd day.

adult for price of a child ticket is only on line.

You can go to any theme park for a day. Just know that you will not see and do everything and enjoy what you do get to do. During the summer the park has longer hours so it makes it easier to do more shows, rides, and feeding the animals.

The all day plan is good in the 5 CS restaurants named on it. It is not good at stands throughout the park like popcorn and ice cream etc.

The adult for child priced ticket requires a seven day advanced purchase too.

Thanks, it does look like the Southwest discount is a better deal for me. I also don't think I'll do the dining plan. I saw that it was $29.99 per adult and $19 (or $14) for my child. If we were eating three meals in the park then yes, but I can't justify spending almost $100 to eat for one day in Seaworld.

We figure out if it will be worth it for the day by the season we go and the hours we will be in the park. If it is summer and we will be there from 9AM- closing we will eat 2 meals which basically covers the cost of the plan. Drinks all day( at least 5 or 6 ) will cost about $18 ; so that alone tells me to buy the plan. Add in a couple snacks like watermelon or cookies during the day and that adds another $6 + so we figure we spend $30 for the plan and eat and drink about $60 worth during the day there. If we plan a short day we don't get the plan I eat one meal and get to get my strawberry waffle cone so spend just about $30 anyway. LOL But I get my cone.....
