Best deal on pools??

So my mother is looking to purchase a pool like the Intex with the inflatable ring so the grand kids can use it when they come over..right now there's a total of 5 grand kids so she wants something large enough but also can't afford to spend a ton of money...I did look at craigslist but i'm a little leary of having her purchase one that way since you aren't guaranteed the condition of it. At least if she buys new she knows it's never been used before..last yr we saw one on clearance for $25 for the medium size and of course now we are kicking ourselves for not buying it..So does anyone know of any really good deals on them or are we better off waiting a few more weeks??? thanks!

we purchased the giant one and had 2 years of wonderful fun, then last year the weather was not warm enough, cold all summer and this year to ( we were 58 yesterday ) we paid 99.00 for it and its so worth !! but...... you must buy it when it hits a sale at kmart. usually these run 199.00

the Targets here in CT have the Intex pools on clearance for 50% off right now. I am holding out for them to go to 75%, otherwise my grandson's banzai slide pool will be good enough for him another year.
The Target near me has 2 of the largest (42" deep), about 6 of the 36", 15 of the 30" and 6 of the tube top type. the person I asked in that department said they will be going to 75% this week.
I had the blow up tube top but it had been used for 6 years so it had seen better days and had too many leaks to make it worth fixing again this year.

While on vacation a couple weeks ago, we stopped at a Pamida in Nebraska to get a few things, and noticed an 18 foot diameter pool on clearance. I'm not sure of the price, since I wasn't really shopping for a pool. If I had a way to get it home, I probably would have looked closer.
