Best deal on a Nintendo DS?

My oldest DD apparantly would like a DS for her birthday. My mom has agreed to go halfs with us to buy one, but I'd still like to get the best price possible.

Does anyone here know of a good place to buy them at some sort of discount?

I bought one last week for my son (his died after a long, rich life). Got a red one from Amazon for $123 with no tax. The prices on the DS don't fluctuate very much, so I was happy with this.

They are releasing a new DSi XL soon which will have a much larger screen. I believe it releases in the next week or two. It's more expensive, but certainly something to think about.

You may want to check out the refurbished ones at Game Stop. They're a lot cheaper than new.

A DSi is a newer model with a camera built into it. Some of the newer games use the camera feature. The DSi's do not read old Gameboy Advance games though, like the DS's do.

hi!! If you or your Mom are military, you can get great deals on a bundle pack. It would be one that includes a DS lite with 2 games ( brain age 2 and the other one I forgot), and the DSI (with 2 built in camera's bigger drive but not backwards compatible ( not able to play gameboy advance games on it ) for like $20.00 more, or you could just buy the DSI xl that comes out, not sure of the price on that one, but our exchange has the Ds lite and DSI on clearance!!!
