What is the best deal you have seen for ipod touch this year?
I am looking for one for my 10 year old for Christmas.

Go to the Apple Store online. Check out the refurb Ipod Touch (should be a link on the left of the web page towards the bottom).
The refurbs from the Apple Store look and function like brand new and come with a one year warranty. We have bought 4 Ipod refurbs from the Apple Store on line. One is 4 years old and still going strong. It would be a perfect way to save a little $$ especially for a 10 year old.

He is tough to shop for, not asking for anything!!!! we only buy 3 gifts so this would be one, a hoodie and some sheet music for his sax. Which would be the smarter one to buy if we were to jump on it?

If you want the one with a camera you would need one that has September 2010 as a date.

Otherwise, many people recommend the 32gb. I have the 32gb and have lots on there and only have about 8gb used.

If you think it would use it for videos then go with the 32gb. DD on their nanos used up 16 very quickly.

I have been looking for my kids also, but the refurb ones from Apple are the 3rd generation...which I already have. Would like the 4th generation for my kids as they like to take pictures/video.

I too am looking to buy itouches for Christmas for the kids. They want the 4th generation so thye can use facetime. I am not sure if I should buy them on ebay or wait to see if there is a Black Friday deal.

I'm still holding out (slim) hope that someone will have a similar offer for the 32gig because I'd really prefer to get the higher-capacity model for my DD even though for everything she's interested in using it for right now (MP3s, e-reader & FaceTime) the 8gig would be fine.

My 15 year old just lost his 8gb 1st generation ipod that he has had for years! I am probably going to replace it at Christmas. He had his completely full and would like to be able to use it for movies too, so we will be upgrading. My husband has a 64gb Ipod and he has not even made a dent in that storage.

I bought both of mine off Ebay from the same seller with no issues. And it was a good price also. It was a store return with no major problems. I also bought a Square trade warranty with it but never needed it. PM me if you would like the sellers name.

There are no deals in the BF ads for the 32Gb only the 8GB.

There is a 10% off Ipods coupon for Target, and last week they were giving a $25 (or $20) GC with the purchase of a 32GB Touch. I'm really kicking myself for not jumping on that deal

I just got my dd one for christmas at best buy,my son has one and she wont leave his alone lol I got a white 8gb 4th gen for 152.00! It was marked down because someone opened the box (not purchased) everything is still new! best buy norm has open box ones for about 40.00 off so keep a eye out.I got my sons black 8gb 4th gen last year at best buy for 167.00, they wanted to make sure they could facetime.
