We were there last year aournd May 20 and all the days were rated as three's and fours. This year the same days are 7's. what gives???

I'm so happy! Our dates went from 9's & 8's to all 7's (Memorial Day week) Yeah!

My whole week in July is a 9 but the day I plan to go to MK is not one of the parks to avoid. I know it will be busy but I am still going.

How can Labor Day be a 4??????

Sounds right to me, We went last year sunday through Friday of Labor day week, and it was empty ALL WEEK INCLUDING MONDAY!!!!

We were having dinner at the California Grill a couple of weeks ago and asked our server when the slowest time of the year was. He didn't even think for a second and responded with Labor Day weekend.

I was surprised with that answer too.

If you think about it, this does sort of make sense.
Alot of kids go back to school now the week before, some even 2 weeks before, Labor Day or they go back the day after Labor Day, so people probably don't want to take their kids out of school after only a week or two or be at Disney the day before they go back to school, plus it's hot then and it's hurricane season.

Mmmmmmmmm, so maybe Labor Day week is replacing 1st week of December as a really good time to go crowd wise. - I don't know about that heat/humidity then though.......

This is when we are going (just hoping for no hurricanes!!) Our kids start school the day after labor day, so we'll come back the day before labor day to get ready for school.

It got to me the first 2 days, but after that was totally bearable..and since there was noone around we were on rides constantly so not feeling it much.

None of the parks were busy when we were there, including water parks.
