We are spending Friday afternoon, March 29 through Tuesday morning, April 2 in San Diego. We were considering going to Sea World for 1 day plus 1 evening, the Zoo for 1 day, and the other morning to do the beach. I'm wondering what would be the best days to visit SW and the zoo during that window? Thanks for the help.

Both attract lots of locals as well as visitors. Monday would be an ideal day for the zoo. Seaworld gets crowded but can be seen pretty quickly unless you want to see every show, Sundays are lighter than Saturdays in my experience.

So we arrive Sunday afternoon. It sounds lie we could do this:
Friday--SW in the evening for a show and to get familia with the park.
Saturday--Safari Park in the morning to early afternoon. Something else at night--Any suggestions?
Sunday--SW all day with a mid-day break.
Monday--Zoo
Tuesday--Stop at Legoland on way to Disney.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks again for the help!

I think you should either do the zoo or the Safari Park - they're very similar in that you're looking at animals. The safari park is basically a big open field you tour and some smaller exhibits, the zoo is well, a zoo - but an awesome zoo. I live a few minutes walk away and hit the zoo a few times a week. Love it.

But I think you might feel they're too similar especially both in a week.

Also keep in mind that Safari Park is about 40 minutes outside of San Diego proper. But if you go in the day, and you like craft beer, you could always stop at Stone Brewery for dinner on the way back.

Not sure if you're traveling with family and what ages are but some other fun things are the Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, Maritime Museum, Ruben H Fleet Science Center, Cabrillo National Monument, Scripps Aquarium, or just rent some bikes and cruise the beach/bay...
