Best Days to Visit Each Park

My wife and I are visiting Orlando for 2 weeks at the end of april/beginning of may. I am trying to put an ittinary together and need to know the best and worst days to visit each of the Disney and Universal parks. I have bought the Unofficial Guide to Walt DisneyWorld book but I think the days it suggests are based on early entry days which have changed since the book was published.

Does anyone know of a resources which will list which parks should be visited on which days for April/May 2005?

After going to the parks for many years and talking with CM's the worst day/worst park/highest crowds is at MK on Monday. Since most people travel on the weekend and arrive on Sunday, the first park most people go to is MK the first full day after arrival. We travel the same time (Weekends) but plan to visit MK on Tuesday.

I have updated my disney days but i still need best days data for the non disney parks (US, IOA, SW, BG) any idea which are the best days to visit these parks?

Changing my ittinerary to take advantage of best days as shown on http://www.touringplans.com/BestDays.htm, it now appears that the best day to visit Magic Kingdom is a Saturday. Common sense tells me this will be busy. Should I blindly follow the advice of the Unofficial Guide or do the MK on another day?

When are you going?... we like MK on Saturdays during the summer, other times of year Saturdays are busy. During the summer locals stay away and that is a big travel day for people arriving or departing.

I have planned to do the MK on April 30th but will be in Orlando from April 22nd through May 6th.

If I do MK on another day, what park (disney or universal) is best for a saturday?

Have you checked the monthly calendar on Disney's site for MK? On April 30 the park closes at 7PM and on the calendar does not have Wishes or Spectro playing that night at all. Maybe it will be less crowded that night due to that fact though.

I believe the reasoning behind The Unoffical Guide book's reccomendation is that the busiest day at any park is the day with extra magic hours. They have also observed that the day after the EMH day is usually much quieter as most Disney hotel guests will be attending another park which has EMH and/or probably wont return to the same park 2 days in a row. With Friday being the EMH day for MK this year, that makes Saturday the best day to go.

I totally agree. I've heard others on this board say "Tour Guide Mike said this" but the UG says this and it's the opposite (like MK on Saturday). Then there are probably 5 other guides that say something else.
