Best days to visit each park

This will bump you for some responses.
IMHO if you get to any park at opening time you will be able to get a lot done in the first few hours, including the Magic Kingdom. This is something we always do and have had great success.
The really big crowds from outside don't start arriving until later in the morning.

I don't know if this is true or not (but we are going to use this advice in the summer when planning our parks):

Since you pay extra to park hop now, many people are doing 1 park per day and they are picking the park with the LATE EMHs because that gets them in the park for 3 extra hour. So the park with the lowest attendance the the park that had LATE EMH the night before.

Again, I don't know if this is true, but it does make sense. Even those who are park hopping, but attending the late EMH probably don't want to to right back to the park they were just at the night before.

So in June, when we go, we are going to MGM the first day (just because we want to start there), and then the next day we will go to AK since the night before was EMH there. Then on Wednesday we will go to Epcot since the night before was EMH, then the next day will be MK for us because it has the EARLY EMH (and we want to get in all of the parks).

Something to think about. We are going to see if this advice works for us.

westjones - We used that exact strategy last June and it worked. Go to the park the day after it's late EMH. We were at the MK on a Saturday and had very low wait times on everything.

I have wondered about this myself. Now that the EMHs change by the month (or so it seems to me), wouldn't the best/worst days change by month, too? I think all those touring plans are probably out the window now.

The UG website keeps the best days updated and the touring plans are not contigent upon being there on the best day -- they work beautifully. However, those who wish to "wing it", throw the touring plans out the window and wait in line are welcome to do so.

As for me and my house, we're going to take advantage of the UG's touring plan recommendations and enjoy a wonderful and relativelly wait-free day in the parks. After two visits to WDW and a visit to DL they haven't steered me wrong yet.

WOW! I guess I must have used the term "touring plans" incorrectly. The title of this thread is BEST days, and that's what I was referring to. I did not intend to insult anyone or their "touring plans". I guess I have never needed anything official, as we always go in slow season and I always researched the BEST and WORST days for each park. Usually the best days were the day before or day after Early Entry, and the worst were Early Entry days. My point was, now that the days designated for A.M. EMH are not consistent but change monthly, I would think the Best and Worst days will change too. Hope I was clearer this time. ;)

Allearsnet has a little bit on this too. It also has dates for value/regular/peak seasons. Very helpful in planning!
I agree with the above posters that almost any park you choose will be great before 11 am.
Have a great trip! :cheer2:

I have heard that MK is usually very busy on Mondays. So I try to do something else.

Due to the ever changing extra magic hours and other special events, TourguideMike now has recommended parks for each day of the year. You would have to pay and join the site to get the information, but I'm convinced it works.
