Best days to go?

I'm trying to plan my trip for the first week of May 2006 and would like opinions on which days are the least crowded at each park. My last trip was in April 2004 and it seemed like no matter what day we went, the place was packed! We really didnt have a good strategy planned before we left, so needless to say things were a bit hectic and we really missed out on a lot. I'd like to really sit down and plan things out this time so the experience will be much more enjoyable.

My last trip was in April 2004 and it seemed like no matter what day we went, the place was packed!

Regardless of the days you pick "scientifically and statistically" the facts are that nobody can predict exactly how any given SPECIFIC group of guests will tour on any given day.

In addition, WDW has experienced many more guests than "usual" in the past couple of years. So the statistics are less accurate due to unusually large crowds.
But, if you were there in April (near "Spring Break") the crowds would be extra heavy.
