We are arriving Jan.23 at 11:30am (Sunday)

Starting Monday, which parks should we do on what day? We have 3 small children with us. We need to know so when it comes time to book charatcer meals we can try to get those days.

I know they say not to do MK on a Monday but I can't see it being to busy late Jan. and I always want to hit MK on my first day. To be honest we never try to negotiate parks around crowd levels on certain days and we have yet to have a problem.

We always hit MK on Mondays...somehow. we always end up flying out on a Sunday:)

We always get there in time for opening - it's wonderful:) And you'll be able to do all the rides in Fantasyland by 10am-TWICE!!, just in time for Mickey's Philharmagic First showing...then stroll on over to Toontown - which just opened at 10am:)

Then head for Epcot, and an early PS for lunch...get your Fastpass for either MSor TT, whichever has the longest line...which in January, is usually 10 minutes:):):):)

Ooopss, I forgot...Fastpass will probably be closed, because there are BARELY ANY PEOPLE!!!:):):)

Tired yet? Head for the hotel and the pool. Impress all the other people waiting in line when you tell them "Oh we already did that ride";);)

Can you tell I'm excited???:):)

I never really addressed your question:)

Which characters do they really want to see?
CP at the MK is great for Pooh and Friends...
Princess Breakfast in Norway at Epcot...
Donald and friends in AK...
the Polynesian and Chef Mickey's are fun...but they are resorts, so you wouldn't have to "use" a day on your ticket.

What we do is try to schedule Character Meals on non-park days...have a long leisurely breakfast without feeling like you're "wasting time" not touring.

Suppers are fun too...1900ParkFare is lovely.

Subscribe to www.tourguidemike.com ($22) and you will not only find out which days to do which parks (depending on whether you get EMH entry or not), you will also get sample tours you can cut/copy/paste into a wordprocessing document to print off and take with you. We were there for 2 weeks in the heat of July and my kids only stood in line for more than 10 minutes twice. It was wonderful. The kids (4, 11, 12, & 13) knew that from 9am - 1pm they had to go where I told them to go. After that their dad and I would go where they wanted. Following his advice there were no lines and we were always just ahead of the crowds. Knowing what I know now about tourguide mike, I'd happily pay $200 for his info. Give yourself time to get used to his website tho - it's not the easiest to learn to maneouver. We go again in 5 years and that website will be my first investment. You can also access his site through www.mousesavers.com and save $5 on the fee.
