We will be in Orlando for our Disney/Universal Trip next Saturday (April 30th) through May 7th. We are traveling with our 5 year old twin daughters. Can anyone give advice for the Universal parks? Which days would be best to go? We purchased the 2 Day park to park tickets. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

Based on the Express Plus pass prices for that week, May 2-5 are the next to the lowest price at $35.99/per person...which indicates lower crowd levels than other days. That would be Monday-Thursday of that week which should be the better days to go. Definitely stay away from Saturday 4/30, Friday 5/6 and Saturday 5/7 since the parks close early due to Gradbash. The parks close at 7pm the week you're visiting which is another indication that lighter crowds are expected.

Is it really a bad idea? I was planning to go on Friday 6th and Saturday the 7th. Their website says the parks will be open from 8 am to 6 pm, which is an equivalent amount of time to any of the 9 am - 7 pm hours the other days of the week.

I'm thinking about changing my plans to go to WWOHP/IOA from Thursday 5/12 to Monday 5/9 so that we can dine at Mytho's on our anniversary. Do you think the crowds will be heavier one day versus the other?

:confused:We are scheduled to be there on Mother's Day. (May 8) Do you think the early closings the days before will affect that day? I'm panicing!

You will definitely see more crowds due to the hard ticket event but not until later in the afternoon. CityWalk will be a zoo!

I don't think so...either day should be fine.

I think you'll be OK on Mother's Day.

I was under the impression that those attending gradbash wouldn't arrive at the park until after closing. Is that not true? I may have to rethink my whole plan for the week.

Gradbash is a hard ticket event so it will not take place until after the parks close. However...there are parties prior to the event and they usually take place at CityWalk somewhere...I'm not sure where. CityWalk is going to be mobbed with people for Gradbash as well as regular day guests.
