Best Day of Thanksgiving Week for IOA

We are headed to Disney for our annual Thanksgiving trip, and thought about spending one day at Islands of Adventure. Our kids are 3 and 7 and pretty sheepish about thrill rides, so I don't think we will be doing many of the Harry Potter rides. It will mostly be for Suess land, Spiderman, JP.
My question is, our options to go are Monday, Nov. 21, Tuesday, Nov. 22, or Thanksgiving Day. I initially thought for sure Monday or Tuesday would be the less crowded option, but in reading last year's trip reports, it sounded like Monday and Tuesday or Thanksgiving week were insanely crowded.

What would your recommendation be of which day to go, and are Express Passes necessary?

The crowds aren't too bad leading up to and including the holiday so whichever day works for you. You can purchase EPs when you arrive but you won't need them.

Just wanted to bump this thread up to see if there are any more thoughts on the best day during Thanksgiving week 2011 for Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The reports on this board for Monday and Tuesday of that week in 2010 sound terrible, but it also seems like Universal was experimenting with timed entry those days.
