I was thinking either week of Nov 8 or Nov. 14. to try and get in on both Food and Wine and Christmas lights, parade, fireworks. I know Food and Wine ends the 16. Have not seen dates for Christmas events.

Also wondering if either week is better in terms of airfare and room rates.

Thanks for help

Ellen

You should be fine with the first weekend as MVMCP traditionally begins the Friday after Halloween when Halloween is on a weekend (Saturday). We've flown to Orlando close to Veterans' Day and the airfare wasn't too high compared to the other times of year we have flown.

If you want to avoid the Wine and Dine run, plan on the weekend of the 14th.

Just to make sure you understand, you would have to go to the MVMCP in order to see the Christmas parade and Holiday Wishes. But as hiroMYhero said, the MVMCP should start the Friday after Halloween. And the Osborne Lights usually start the same night as MVMCP.

The parade is shown during the day after the party dates but I do not know if they do Holiday wishes.. We have gone both times after/around Veterans Day and it wasn't crowded the first time but this past year was def busier but still manageable

Thanks I have been to MVMCP, but many years ago forgot you need to go to that for parade and wishes

You can only see the Xmas parade and Holiday Wishes at the MVMCP parties starting in early November, thru about Dec 19th or so. Then, after the last Christmas party, the Xmas parade is during the day in place of the 3 p.m. parade(when the Festival of Fantasy parade usually is). And the same with the Holiday Wishes, they are done in place of the regular Wishes show.
