Hi all

Just booked 2 reward flights with virgin to Las Vegas :cool1:
It's our 20th wedding anniversary in June so booked 7 nights just the two of us - economy exit row outbound and PE return :cool1: total £660 :thumbsup2

Sally

Ps
After our horrendous return flight from Orlando slightly squiffy about the 10hr 45min flight but coming back PE should ease the concern;)

Fantastic- congratulations that will be a fab trip. Been before?

What was the problem on your Orlando return?

Hope you enjoy it! Are you renting a car? If you are, you should DEFINITELY take a trip up to Mt Charleston. There's the MOST ROMANTIC cafe/restaurant with AMAZING views. My partner and I enjoyed that most. That and Phantom of the Opera at The Venetian as the theatre has been specially built for it. We've seen it on Broadway but NOTHING compares to the production at The Venetian! :)

Very bumpy all the way - lightening ++ - teenager across the row from us being violently sick :sad1:

Never been but have friends that have, we are not planning on hiring a car - planning a helicoptor tour to Grand Canyon and will check out the shows - all in the early planning stage as didn't want to get hopes up until reward flights secured!:cool1:

Goodness me - doesnt sound good at all. The night flights always seem worse - Im a very anxious flier. We've done flights to the west coast and theyre fine. Vegas landing I think csn be bumpy if your incoming over the sand hills but it was ok.

We had a bad flight home last time with turbulence again and again and again - each time with a very loud hysterical child a little way behind us screaming 'I dont want to die Mummy!' I can see the amusing side now but I really hated it then!

Well whatever happens, I hope you enjoy yourself! :) All the shows over there are pretty good but Phantom does take some beating. We saw a good Caberet type show at the Planet Hollywood hotel and medieval jousting dinner show at the Excalibur but another family said they couldn't recommend "O" by Cirque Du Soleil enough as well. Just thought I'd let you know in case it helps when planning :)

You'll love the Grand Canyon, I was there last year with work, would love to take my family. We were on the other side and it was just magnificent.
We are back 2 weeks tomorrow and holiday blues not so bad this year but I think because we already had a week in Sorrento, Italy booked for October. Already trying to work out what to do next year. Thinking 2 weeks Orlando and one week Long Boat Key.

The Grand Canyon is not to be missed and I too would definitely recommend seeing a show - there are so many to choose from. And the buffets ofcourse! The buffet in Paris is lovely with great theming
