If there is a thread that answers this question, please direct me to it. thanks.

We are doing DDP for 4 days. 2A and DS16 and DD17. Here's my idea...

Objective: We'll have 4 CS/day. Use 2 CS for breakfast, share and supplement with additional items. Use 2 CS for lunch, share and supplement with additional items.

For each park(one location) - please list the best CS food, as well as, the most food for your money so we can supplement spending as little as possible on additional food. We don't want to waste food either (why have more than we need). Also---2 of us will be only drinking water. We only need main entree as supplement.

Any ideas welcome....List threads that you thought had good ideas too!popcorn::

DH and I shared a lot of CS meals, the breakfasts are huge and easy to share.

As for CS's these are the ones we found the portions very big:

Tusker House at Animal Kingdom (chicken platter) or Flame Tree Barbecue (again, half chicken with baked beans and corn)

Sunshine Seasons - Epcot (so much choice!)
Tangierine Cafe - Morocco, Epcot (the platters are huge!)

Cosmic Ray's at Magic Kingdom (you can get half a chicken and ribs, huge!)

MGM - i'd save the CS as we didn't like any of the places there...get a turkey leg and save the CS for DTD (Wolfgang Puck Express is great!)

If you want to see the menus in advance to work out where you might do better sharing try this website:

Have a great time!

I was going to suggest exactly what booknut did:

Cosmic Rays at MK - Chicken and Ribb platter
Tangierine Cafe at Epcot - Schwarma platter, I think it is?
Tusker house at AK - Chicken platter

They were all more than enough for me and DS to share, especially the Tangierine in Morocco, huge! They were all very good too!

I thought that Disney's breakfasts were really reasonable. Once you figure what you'll be spending to supplement the shared breakfasts and lunches, you might find that you'd do just as well to pay OOP for breakfast (or bring breakfast bars etc from home) and let everyone get their own lunch. That way, you can get food that you really want to eat, rather than having to eat something you might not necessarily have chosen except for the fact that it's big enough to share.

You can also split a dbl cheeseburger meal by sharing the fries, the drink (esp if they'll give you a lg) get an extra bun (about $1, and share the little dessert treat. Good stuff, and at some places you can dress up your burger(s) any way you want:goodvibes

One of the things we noted on our recent trip is that some of the larger items on some of the CS menus are now excluded from the Dining Plan for 1CS credit. I know we encountered that at two eateries, but I don't remember which ones.
