So DH and I have ADRs for dinner at our fav LeCellier.....but it's getting harder to justify spending $44 for a filet....are there any hidden gem CS in world showcase??
try lunch which has a cheaper (and I believe smaller) filet. ADRs are harder to get since dinner went to two dining credits.
There is nothing in the CS locations that will replace a good filet, but Epcot has generally better and wider options for CS. We often buy from multiple pavilions and meet to eat.
The best place with good variety and food is Sunshine Seasons. The UK, Morocco and French pavilions are also favorites.
Not really CS, but Via Napoli is really yummy and a lot cheaper than LC. We also really enjoyed La Hacienda and Chefs de France, also not CS. Fish and Chips in UK are great and Boulangerie Patisserie in France is just adorable and have good sandwiches, as well as delicious pastries! I heard Tangierine Cafe is very good, but haven't eaten there myself.
We love the burgers at The America Pavilion at EPCOT. If it's nice you can sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. Food is very good and you can enjoy with a Sam Adams beer-wish I were there now!!
Everything from the french bakery is good. Tangerine is probably the most interesting and best for your dollar of the counter service.
Being a fan of cased meats in all forms - a bratwurst on a pretzel is just a winner under any circumstance as well.
As far as the "44 filet" at LE Basement....yeah - it is hard to justify that. Especially since it is roughly the quality of Outback at 2 1/2 times the price.
most overrated restaurant in disney world...possibly the history of Earth (i've got a call out checking into that one)
I totally agree. It's better than a lot of non-Disney restaurants, too!
We also like some of the stuff at Sunshine Seasons (like the beet salad and a couple of other dishes), but I would say that Tangierine Cafe has a better ambiance!
