I am determined to drag my family to rope drop at MK on our next trip. What's your favorite counter service breakfast in MK? I am thinking waffles at Sleepy Hollow. Want to be able to grab something quick while taking advantage of the low crowds.

PPO Be Our Guest, if you are on the dining plan. That way you can leave the restaurant and line up at 7DMT prior to park opening.

If not on the DP, or don't want to use a credit, Sleepy Hollow!!

Gaston's over near the Beast's Castle also has cinnamon rolls and coffee. Your only other option is Starbucks on Main St. They have breakfast sandwiches if you want something savory instead of sweet. However, that means stopping on Main St and being farther behind the crowds OR making your way back to it and away from rides after you've hit one or two. Neither is a great option.

I agree with sunnieRN, get an early BOG, if you are on the dining plan, it's outrageously expensive otherwise. Crowds don't stay low for long at MK, so stopping to eat at rope drop is normally not part of a good plan. 30 minutes can be the difference of getting on 3 different rides or waiting several hours to do those same 3 rides. I would recommend eating something light on the way to MK, and waiting till after 11 to eat something at MK.

Thanks for the responses! Should have clarified that we are not doing DDP and also not planning to eat until mid-morning, after we get in some rides while the park is less crowded. We'll probably do granola bars or something on our way to MK, but I know we'll need something more substantial after a few hours and we don't have a lunch ADR so looking to split the difference. Forgot about Starbucks--that might be Plan B depending on where we are in the park :)

FWIW, paying OOP for BOG for a non-PPO breakfast is cray-cray in my book.

Paying OOP for Sleepy Hollow? Sane. Reasonable. Fantastic. Plz to buy me waffle.

If you're gonna pay OOP for BOG, you may as well go to Crystal Palace for a nice sit down breakfast.

Otherwise, I agree with others. Don't do Starbucks. It's basically microwaved egg sandwiches. Do Sleepy Hollow- they have fresh waffles.
