I have found a lot of posts about Crocs being the best, so I'm sold. I haven't bought them before because, sorry if I offend, but I think they're ugly. However, with so many people saying that they are the most comfortable shoes they own, I guess I need to give in.

I went to shoebuy and realized how many different styles there are:eek: . I will be buying for 2 toddlers, DH and I. Is one style more comfortable than the other. Or maybe more many since DH isn't real keen on wearing them to begin with?

TIA!

I have three pairs:
Mary Jane
Cleo
Disney

Mary Jane was my first pair and with the exception of MNSSHP (since I wore costume boots), they were the ONLY shoes I wore the entire trip. My feet were never sore and it was extremely comfortable. I've worn my Cleos for several hours (and they are not your typical Croc-looking shoes) and they have always been comfy...but I haven't tested them out by walking the typical amount you would at WDW...of course, I didn't do that with the Mary Janes either prior to WDW. My Disney ones ar e very comfy and I would expect they'd be just as good as my other pairs.

I have Disney and Cleo as well, and on Sunday I did the entire Magic Kingdom in the Cleos. They were great, and and an added bonus they dried out very quickly after the rainstorm! Everyone else's shoes were soaked through. :rolleyes1

Good to know about the Cleos! I'll be packing mine with me in September.

Thank you! Those look very un crock-like to me! I am still debating whether or not to get us all the Disney ones or not. At this point, I think I'm only going to buy one pair for reach of us. I don't think DH and I will wear the Disney ones much outside of the parks. Ugh, decisions, decisions and just as I was finished with our ADRs:laughing:

Well between my husband,me, kids and grandkids we own 34 pairs of crocs :scared1:  and everyone favorite seems to be 1) niles 2) scutes. They were the only pair of shoes we all wore at disney last year and still the only sandal we all wear. Just bought more last Sunday. LOVE THOSE CROCS!!!! :yay: :dance3:

I can't find the Niles. I may have to get the sutes. Shoebuy has a $10 off $30 code today and I can't much in my size:confused3

The disney ones are just as comfortable as any others. I have 3 - one "metro" (which has no holes), one of the regular kind with holes, and one disney red and black pair. The metro are the most comfortable; my guess is because these are the oldest and were made in Colorado, not China. But they would be too hot to wear at Disney. :(

So I'd say wait until you get there and buy the Disney crocs! :cool1:

Crocs are out! Where have you been?

The new thing is duck brand duct tape. Just bring several rolls in various colors and trim to fit your feet. you can even mesh leotards to match and can explore various different thickness of soles. Good luck! It's the in thing and you will be the true trend setter with the ducks! Just wait till next year when people are discussing what color and type of duct tape do you wear?:thumbsup2

I have 2 pairs of Crocs currently, in the Beach style. I guess they are pretty ugly but I couldn't really care less. I wear them because they are so comfortable. I will be giving them their first true Disney test this August.

Another vote for the Cleos.

OK, I think Crocs are the UGLIEST shoes in creation. :confused3 But last December, I sucked it up and bought a pair for my Disney trip, sold on the PURE COMFORT. Well, they didn't fit right! So recently, I returned them and bought the new CLEOS. OH MY GOSH, they are ADORABLE!!!!!!! And I have to tell you, THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOE I WILL EVER OWN IN MY LIFE!!!!!!! And since they are pure sandals, they allow your foot to BREATHE in the hot florida sun! And if it rains, they will dry quicker. They are SIMPLY AMAZING. I've worn them EVERY SINGLE DAY since I got them a month ago. They are HEAVEN on my feet. I have the black/lavender pair and I will be buying the brown/cotton candy pair as well. Those will be the ONLY 2 pairs of shoes I will be taking with me for my 2 week trip to the World! They look ADORABLE with skirts, too! :goodvibes

My kids have the Mickey Crocs, My DH has 2 pair of scutes (he loves them), I have the Athens and I wore them all week in the parks and at night. I just ordered the capri's for our next trip. You will love them!!! The post regarding the rain in so right. We got caught in EPCOT last week and did not have to dry out our shoes the next morning. You will love them.

I can't find the Niles.

I couldn't find the Niles at first, either. But I found and bought mine from SurfAndDirt.com. I wore them all weekend at Hershey Park and they are ridiculously comfortable! Not one blister! No foot pain! Highly, highly recommended!

What is the difference between the Beach and the Cayman? Is one better than the other? I'd like a closed shoe since I'm going in October and the weather then is iffy.

I just wanted to post my experience with the Mickey Crocs for my DS 2 & 1. Neither one of them would keep any shoes on we bought them so a few weeks ago I picked them up each a pair of the blue w/green strap mickey crocs. I thought maybe they might at least be easy to put back on when they took them off. Well, something amazing happened.....neither one of them want to take the sandals off! First thing they do when they get up in the morning is put their sandals on and when they go to bed I have to wait till they fall asleep to take them off. At first I thought this was a phase but it's been nearly four weeks now and we are still fanatics about the mickey crocs. I think I need to go get myself some mickey's now! BTW, I own three pair of crocs, I think they are called caymen, and I love them. Last year it was the only shoe I wore at DW.

When I first saw these shoes, I thought they were the ugliest thing in the world. Now 1 year and 1 very worn pair of Beach Crocs later, I wouldn't wear anything else. I have given them the Disney test twice and it was the first time I never had any pain on my feet at all. No blisters, no sweating, and the very best part-when one of those well-known Florida storms came rolling through, my girls and I had dry feet in less than half and hour!:thumbsup2

After reading all the posts on these boards, I'm definitely going to look into these shoes for our family's October visit. The only thing I'm worried about is that my dd9 has extremely narrow feet, and my dh has very wide feet. Does anyone have any experience/recommendations for which Crocs would be best for these issues?? Thanks :)

What is the difference between the Beach and the Cayman? Is one better than the other? I'd like a closed shoe since I'm going in October and the weather then is iffy.

The Caymen and the Beach are nearly identical other than sizing. Caymen's come in "whole" sizes, 9,10, 11, 12 etc., while the Beach are sized like, S, M, L, XL etc. (Each covering a few sizes). i.e. - My XXL Beach are listed as men's 12-13.

I own both type, but prefer the Beach. While the Caymen are supposed to be a narrower version, I find that my XXL Beach fit better than my size 12 Caymen's. They seem a little trimmer, and not quite so loose. (And I wear a size 12 in all other footwear).

I have caymans, cleos, niles, primas and scutes. My ds has Disney and caymans. I recommend the Disney cayman, prima or cayman for narrow feet, they fit closer than the beach. The scutes are fairly wide. The niles are more narrow, and just like sandals. The cleos are amazing, and are definitely my favorites. They are more like a flip with straps. Great air circulation, and very, very comfortable.
