That is too funny. When we were in Disney last March both of my DDs wanted to get a pair of Disney crocs. At first my DH was very reluctant in buying them because he thought that they would be very uncomfortable plus he thought they were the ugliest things ever made. Well he finally caved and bought the crocks for the girls, with that he said that they could wear them anywhere but the parks. After they bought them, he was examining the shoes a little more and decided that they would indeed be comfortable. Now FF to Disney in December....while walking around Epcot, DH noticed the stand that sold the crocs. He went over and bought his own pair, now he wears them everywhere (except for work because they are not allowed). When we go back in March I am hoping that they are still selling the Athens shoe, they seem like they would be very comfortable walking around in the parks all day.
This is a great advantage to be a male. You can wear ugly shoes and nobody cares. I don't think most people notice I have Mickey shaped holes in my shoes, but if they do I give 'em a "what're you lookin' at?" glare.
