I'm not sure. The way WF displays charges on their website, they don't seem to have that level of detail. All I can really see is if I go to the rewards section whether a "bonus" was given for a particular charge and what that bonus was.

I know it varies from bank to bank, but I'll add another data point. I have a Barclays Aviator Silver card (which is being discontinued). It earns 2x American Airlines miles for just hotels, not all travel. It gave me 2x miles for both direct DVC purchases and for dues.

The WF point dashboard is so confusing. I like my Signify biz card because I know everything is 2x and that's that

At least on this one, you only got a credit for airlines, so we’ll actually know how much it is unlike your test case with the CSR

Yes, that was an epic fail. Juggling too many cards! I hate these coupons. I still didn't hit that credit on my CSR. I should probably get around to it

I know it's not the point of this thread but tangentially another great option, and the one I would do if I didn't purchase DGCs year round, would be to open up a high sign up bonus card just to use on the dues. Transfer those points to an airline of your choice and voila free flights to MCO courtesy of (insert credit card issuer here).
