Where are some of the best Counter Service restaurants?

Our favorite at the Magic Kingdom is Cosmic Rays. Lots of choices and large portions -- some even large enough to share.

Our favorites are Pizzafari in AK & Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in MK. Both have large portions & taste very good. Both can get very crowded, we hit the lunch times early at both. I would like to know some of the least crowed, or “best kept secrets” with counter service places.
One we do not like is the ABC Commissary in DHS. As DD said, “More than bad Daddy!”

Our current favorite is Columbia Harbour House in MK, good food and sitting upstairs is so calm and quiet it is a nice get away.

Animal Kingdom - really liked Pizzafari - I had the Italian sub and it was really good.

Magic Kingdom - Cosmic Rays was pretty good. Liked Pinocchio's. I had the pizza there.

Epcot - the fast service restaurant in Morocco. Ate there on advice from this message board and everyone in our party loved the schwarma platter - especially the lamb.

If you are in Downtown Disney, you must use a CS at Wolfgang Puck's Express.....AWESOME!

One of my recent favourites is Earl of Sandwich at DTD. If you show your AAA card you get (I think) a 15% discount. One hot sandwich comes to only $5.43 with the discount. Every visit we have had consistently good quality, fresh ingredients and great service.

I love love love the Pecos Bill Cafe in MK! They have the BEST fixins bar for the burgers... Yummy!

I am also a huge fan of the Flame Tree BBQ at AK.

The have the best fries ever! and free cheese sauce. I may be to easy to please but this place is my first stop as soon as we enter MK

Love the Roaring fork at wilderness lodge resort.
Wilderness Salad - with chicken, walnuts, and apples - we went three years ago and my brother in law still talks about it- I loved the Turkey and brie sandwich- though I didn't see it on the menu on allears

Epcot - Sunsine Seasons (Futureworld)
- Yakatori House (Japan, World Showcase)
- Try the Boulangerie Patisserie (France) for dessert/snacks! And the school bread in the Norway bakery!

MK - Pecos Bill's (Adventureland/Frontierland border?)
- Columbia Harbour House (Liberty Square)

Animal Kingdom - Flame Tree BBQ (enough to share for 2 ppl)

Studios - Starring Rolls (next to Brown Derby and on the way to TOT/RNR)
- You can also get Slurpies (Icees?) by the entrance (I think)

Cosmic Ray's: Loved the variety, could get something for everyone
Peco Bills: The fixings bar is awesome!
Casey's: Loved the hot dogs

HS:
We really struggled to find any good CS here. Pizza Planet was better than ABC, but I've heard good things about the sandwiches at Starring Rolls.

AK:
Yak and Yeti CS: Really good stuff here!
Flametree: Nice as well.

Epcot:
Sunshine Seasons: Good variety and a break from burgers.
Yakitori House: The udon noodle in beef broth was good. I loved the sushi.

Flame Tree in AK is the best! It's always the first place we go when we get to the World. Our flights usually get in around 11am, so we get to AK just in time for some yummy lunch.

Flame Tree at AK is great.

My absolute favorite is Earl of Sandwich in DTD. Great value and awesome sandwiches. It is worth the trip.

Laugh away but our fav was the food court at our resort, ASMu!! The staff was very kind and the chef was very helpful with some special food requests, the food was fresh, the ice cream sundaes were outrageously yummy, and it was "close to home"!!
