best counter service @US ???????????

hi, any suggestions for good/quick/cheap counter service meal @ US, will be eating at HRC in the evening so want something for lunch time, preferably with pizza or fries for kids? thanks in advance

Seriously though, Louie's Pizza in NY has decent food, and for US its at a decent price.

I also like Richter's in S.F. (Burgers).

It isn't counter service, but I like Finnegan's at US. It is almost as cheap as a counter place but usually not crowded and the food is pretty good. You could get fish and chips for the kids or a huge fruit plate.
