One of my pet peeves is finding a good cup of coffee in WDW. Where would I go to get a good cup in PPH, DHL, GCH or in the parks. Besides Starbucks (which is OK but not my favorite) I'm used to drinking Bustelo coffee more akin to Expresso coffee but definitely not that Nestle coffee offered in most places in WDW. Anyone can direct me to a decent cup? TIA:moped::lovestruc

Well I am a 100% Starbucks girl so I am not too much help, except if you like strong coffee, Jazz Kitchen Express in DTD has a chicory coffee that is very good. We always eat one breakfast there and I get the breakfast burrito and the chicory coffee! It is yummy!

The DTD Starbucks has the reserve coffee and the Clover machine. You can get an awesome, very delicious cup of coffee even if it is super expensive.

IMO, the Starbucks is better than the stuff you get from the hotels and resort which I think is Joffrey's or something now? Idk, but it is not that great.

Except for Starbucks, all of the coffee in the parks and at the resort hotels is Joffrey's, so those are basically your options. Not sure if the Ghirardelli in DCA serves it's own brand or Joffrey's, but I'd guess it's Joffrey's. You can try Catal, Tortilla Jo's and Napolini to see which brand they serve. The other thing you can do is bring something like concentrate or packets of instant coffee to doctor what they serve more to your taste preference.

DTD Starbucks is the thing. Its a Starbucks Reserve which has rare coffees. Hearthstone Lounge in GCH does Coffee Press iirc. also DLH does have a Coffee Shop.

As pp stated, Ghirardelli's in DCA serves Peet's. So does Haagen Dazs in DtD. There is a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf across the street from the parks on Katella (ground level of the Springhill Suites). And DtD Starbucks Reserve is good, too.

Can anyone tell me what type of coffeemakers are in the rooms at PPH and DLH?:)

They are the pod type (not keurig style). I brought my own VIA packets and just made hot water for my coffee every morning. The coffee pods they provide are not strong at all.

Disneyland Hotel has a great coffee place next to Goofy's Kitchen...I REALLY dislike Starbucks so I am partial to the Joffrey's served at GCH and for room service. And as someone mentioned above the Ghiradelli's in DCA serves Peet's which we here in the San Fran Bay Area drink much more often than Starbucks.

If you're going at holiday time, I like to get a cup in the GCH lobby and a hot chocolate and mix them for a mocha. Yummy.

We were just there in September and the best coffee we had was at Cove Bar. It was beautiful. Strong and flavourful. My mum said it was the only coffee she had while in the US that she actually enjoyed.

This is great news. I didn't know this. I'll have to use the app to order ahead and have the coffee waiting for me as I walk by.
