This was our seventh family Christmas vacation at WDW and probably the most memorable due to having our 3 year old grandson with us. We were there at VWL from Dec 18-26 and BCV till the 30th. Our youngest child was 5 when she experienced Disney for the first time in 1994 and did not know what to expect with Carter being so young, but all went well. Weather was simply amazing, only having to wear jeans and a sweater for one evening. It poured rain during our Candlelight Processional which put a damper on the evening. We got to spend an afternoon at both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon and golfed at Oak Trails Golf Course. You have to love the Park Hopper with the extra options. Crowd level kicked up a notch on the 26'th and it was a nightmare trying to get to DTD. Highlight of the trip was on day two at Epcot. While over at the Imagination building, we run into Chip and Dale and there was no one else around. We got family pictures and when our grandson Carter went to have his picture taken with them, he kept asking them. " Why do you make Donald so angry"? They put their hands up to their mouths and pretended to giggle. Carter would not smile for the pictures and kept looking at them asking them the same question. I think that he asked them about six times. Such a funny thing to see and I am sure that Chip and Dale had a good laugh when they got back.

Glad you had such a great time over Christmas. I would love to be there over the holidays crowds and all! :goodvibes

That's so cute. :lmao: Glad you had such a nice time. :goodvibes:thumbsup2

And the weather. :thumbsup2

One of my times was during a very wicked cold snap.

I'm sad that people stay away because of the crowds, I mean for them. The energy/festive nature more than makes up for it. And Epcot never seems overwhelmingly crowded to me, even during high capacity.

I've had my best vacations over the holidays.
