Best Christmas deal?

Hi all,

We're still looking into the best deal for Christmas - wondering what would get us the most for our money?

We want to stay at Regal Sun Resort, and fly from London to the Orlando area. We don't really want to hire a car and our dates are December 18th to 27th. Have decided with these dates that indirect is fine to save money! Found £506 per person United codeshare with Air Canada, or a package through Thomas Cook is about £1470 (gone up in the last 3 days) including the 9 nights at the hotel (and, I think, the same flights), then we could get cashback through Quidco. Is there anything better than this available? We are able to book tomorrow night!

We are trying to find flights around 16th Dec - Man to MCO, must be direct. Taking a 6 year old, 2 year old and newborn baby (approx 3 months). We need to return on the 10/1. There is a flight on Christmas Day, but unsure about flying on Christmas Day. Anyone ever flown on Christmas Day?

Flown 2 or 3 times Xmas day, no different to any other to us, last year got there mid afternoon Xmas day, checked into hotel and straight into Magic Kingdom to see fireworks.

We will be going in Economy Class. Do they change the menu for Christmas Day or anything special on the plane?

Virgin served turkey last time we flew Xmas day instead of chicken but ran out before they got to us.

Is there much point in waiting to see if a sale or any specials come along, or should we just book now? That price is OK for us if we can't get better, so thinking we should probably just go for it!
