Best cheese tray again

So far it's still FF and V&A for us but we've had a few more.

Artist Point was very nice,original and the staff asked several times walking by what we liked.

Bistro de Paris was small but decent,we'd get something else though

Flying Fish, CA Grill, and Jiko have all consistently provided the best cheese plates with the best variety of cheese and accompaniments while providing good bang for the buck in my humble opinion.

I like the cheese plate at V&A but I think that for the level at which they operate their offering is lacking a bit. It doesn't significantly stand out from anything we've had at the other three restaurants I mentioned above. I'm getting a bit critical of V&A because I think they are getting a little lazy ... well, maybe that's not the right word, but their overall menu offerings are not changing the way they should for a 5-diamond establishment. And we've had far better cheese plates at similar establishments in other citites. Having said that, we still love dining at V&A but will not be going back any time soon.

for now I'm saying Jiko. That is assuming they haven't gone up to $20 like Ca. Grill. Also not big on the V&A cheese plate but if I'm there I'm ordering it.

My husband had the cheese tray at Jiko on our last trip this past Nov. and absolutely loved it!

Locally a place called bb's has hands down the best we've ever eaten and under $20.

At WD we expect a thematic selection and any time the portions are shareable we are happy.
