Best Cheese Plate at the World

We enjoyed the cheese plate as a snack credit at Boulangerie Patisserie in Epcot (France). It was so delicious! I love me some cheese!!!!

Can anyone else corroborate this experience? The cheese plate at the boulangerie costs $5.95 and that is quite a bit above the usual $4 SN threshold.

We're eating at all these TS in September. My two-year-old is a cheesetarian so I bet we'll be trying them all as either appies or dessert, just to keep the child happy. Yum for me though too!

A Jiko cheese selection. I am sure they vary the cheeses.

I just had the Flying Fish selection on Saturday, it's excellent. (I ordered it for dessert)

CHEESE PLEASE! We are in for the Jiko plate!

I've had the cheese plate at both the Grand Floridian Garden View and the Rose and Crown. I think the Rose and Crown won though. I had it on a hot afternoon on their patio with a Pimm's Cup and a breeze blowing - it was pretty close to heaven on earth. I'd like to try Chefs de France though. I think the best cheese I ever had in the world was on a boat cruise on the Seine. Vive la France!

I have no idea about the bakery in France, when I am there I am thinking sweet carbs.... but I will tell you my DD had the cheese plate at Chefs de France and that was not good.. the goat cheese was as hard as a rock because it was frozen.....eeek.. so do not have their's.

DH had this in March and  it. There is also lots of pate on the plate. He will be having it the next time we go to WDW too!

I do like the one at Boulangerie for a snack. It comes with half a baguette, grapes, and last time it had brie, swiss, and cheddar (?). Anyway, not very "adventurous" cheeses...but still good!

R&C is my favorite so far. About once a month, we pop into the pub, grab a pint of Boddy's and a cheese plate. I love that you can get it in the bar. A while back, they also had a sage cheese on the plate which was incredible.

Count me in for Jiko...:thumbsup2 I'll make sure to take pics when we go.

Hi, Is the "bar" seating walk-up or ADR?? I remember seeing the Cheese Platter on the menu at FF and thinking IF I ordered it there was NO WAY I could eat a dinner (and dessert ;) ) after the cheese platter! But this would be great at the "bar" with a drink or two!! Joan

I think they use it mostly for walk-ins. But if you make ADR, I see no reason why you can't request to be seated at the bar when you check in, although you a bit longer wait if they are already full.

One of my new secrets, is if I don't have ADR and am in the mood for Flying Fish, I get there at opening time or there abouts and telling them I have no problem sitting at the bar. I have done this a couple of times and am immediately seated at the bar. In fact one time I was down in Orlando for a conference and did this and had one of my all time best meals. Naturally it concluded with the cheese plate. :thumbsup2
