Best character dining

We went last November with kids of similar ages (5&8). We didn't make it to Ohana but did most of the others mentioned (chef Mickey, CRT, H&V, Tusker) the only one we'll repeat is Garden Grill. Food was delicious and fresh, loved that you didn't have to jockey out a the buffet (family style) mad Chip and Dale were SO funny. My kids weren't big fans of them but left with a whole new impression!!

It depends on who you want to see but our favorite is Garden Grill - SUCH GOOD CHARACTER INTERACTION! We've had Chip & Dale sit down with us for a few minutes (it was off season and we had an early reservation). Every time we dine there, it feels like we get a nice amount of time with the characters.

Not saying it is the best character dining but just wanted to say I like Crystal Palace over Chef Mickey( which everyone goes crazy for and can be hard to book) I think the food and atmosphere are better at CP over CM.

I'll reiterate what some PPs have said - it depends on who you want to see. We recently had dinner at Akershus and had a great experience. We had 3 small DGC w/ us. We found the food to be much better than CRT. My DSIL has upscale taste, and really enjoyed Akershus. The princess interaction was good as well. I also like H&V, Tusker, the character interaction at Garden Grill but not the food, and the food at Crystal Palace. Good luck!

i like Crystal Palace for dinner or breakfast, also the restaurant in the land for lunch or dinner think the name is garden harvest or something like that its a sit down and they bring the food family style to your table

Has anyone done the Character breakfast at the Four Seasons? I just booked for our upcoming trip in Aug, it seems that it is not that well known. Prices are reasonable and I am assuming the food will be Four Seasons quality? I am surprised it is never mentioned.
*forgot to add I also love that my 11 year old is still considered a child and only pays the child price *
