My husband and I have never done a sit down character breakfast together, but were planning to since this upcoming trip is our honeymoon!!! (It was delayed because of work schedules). Our only problem is narrowing the choices down because there are so many! Can anyone recommend one and let us know what they liked about it? We would love to see Goofy and Mickey, and were crossing our fingers for Stitch! Were not very into the Princesses but any other characters would be fine. Atmosphere is also very important to us as well. After all, why eat in a restaurant unless its really interesting to look around? Thank you all so much for any help! :earsboy: :cool1: :earseek: :earboy2:

If you want Mickey and Goofy, then head over to Chef Mickey's at the Contempory Resort. You get there by monorail so be sure to ask to ride up front with the driver. We had dinner there and the selection of food was awesome and it was pretty good.

We like the breakfast buffet at 1900 Park Fare, at the Grand Floridian, but you won't see Goofy or Mickey there. Alice, The Mad Hatter and others that I can't remember right now, are there. The resort is beautiful and we prefer the food here than other buffets we have tried.

The best character breakfast IMO is Crystal Palace. They have Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, & Piglet on hand. The food is great.

I like Chef Mickey's for dinner....Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Minnie & they have great cheesy mashed potatoes..yum.

Our fav is Crystal Palace. But like the above poster said, its pooh and friends.

With the preferences you listed, Chef Mickey's will be your best choice. Too bad the Garden Grill won't reopen before your honeymoon, because it really would've met all your requirements, and it's an awesome character meal with great interaction. Maybe you could keep it in mind for future WDW trips. :)

I think Liberty Tree Tavern dinner is the best for couples. it isn't loud like Chef Mickeys or Pooh. The characters seem to pay attention to you even if you don't have children also.
The dinner you can see on allears.net. But, it is really good normal "homecooked" food!

Breakfastosaurus gets our vote. Donald, Mickey, Goofy and Pluto. Really good food, but IMHO crystal palace food is better. however to see the characters you want, I'd say breakfastosaurus

Grand Floridian 1900 Park Fare is the best weve ever done. The food is amazing. We have done Crystal Place, Chef Mickeys and several others but none has ever matched up to this one.

Breakfastosaurus is the best for my family, Crystal Palace would be our second choice.

We also think Donalds Breakfastosaurus is #1 for a character breakfast. Food was better and the serving lines were kept cleaner than Chef Mickeys or CP. Also, its smaller, so the character interaction seems better.

DW and I also prefer 1900 Park Fare at the GF for a character breakfast.

CP gets my vote. The puffed french toast is awsome. And, you can take part in the parade!

The last time we were at the Beach Club it had Goofy chip and Dale and Mickey at the Breakfast(I can't remember if they were also at the dinner clam bake) I would also vote for the Breakfastasaurus or whatever it is called now. It is a fun stop in AK for breakfast which is hard to find in AK. Happy Honeymoom :thewave:

First of all, congratulations on your nuptials! My husband and I honeymooned last May in WDW on the Gold Plan so we took full advantage of all the character breakfasts. The food at 1900 Park Fare was fantastic with an omelet station and blitz’s on the buffet, along with all of your staples. Chef Mickey’s food was also good and a lot of fun with the characters and the napkin dance (we just observed). CP’s atmosphere was definitely the nicest. Very bright and cheery and with the characters from Pooh. It really comes down to whether you’re looking for good food, particular characters, or atmosphere. All were great! Have a wonderful honeymoon!!!!
