Best character breakfast based on meal only?

OK,
I'm comparing Plaza Inn Minnie bfast vs. Goofy's kitchen.
Looks like goofy's kitchen has way more options than minnie's BUT minnie's in the park. So, based on food only which one has the best food?

I was going to say that same thing! The food at Storytellers is incredible and the only character meal I know of where people actually go for the food. Also, if you have any Brother Bear fans, this one is for you since Koda and Kenai are there along with Chip and Dale and sometimes Meeko. It sort of Disney Forest Friends in theme.

And to throw another wrench in, I also think the food at the Lilo and Stitch breakfast at the Paradise Pier Hotel is also very good.

As far as which is better between Goofy's and Minnie's Goofy's does have more selections but I wouldn't say its better, just more varied. In the end, I would pick the one that has the characters that appeal to you Minnie's will include Pooh characters, Goofy's will usually include a princess or two along with Goofy and a few others and Lilo and Stitch is well, Lilo and Stitch. I have done them all and enjoyed them all. And never had a bad meal either. Good luck with your choice!

Another vote for Storyteller's, it is fabulous. Plus then you can get in early before the park opens and not waste park time eating breakfast. It is a nice relaxed atmosphere too, just cozy and fun! And I have never had a bad meal there, breakfast lunch or dinner!

For me it's hard to base it on meal only, for me I can go to just about any place and get a good breakfast. For these meals are all about the Characters. We did Minnie when it was still over at Paradise Pier, and we've done Goofy's. The food was both good IMO.

We wouldn't do Storytellers only because I don't care for Brother Bear, and they really don't have any other main characters that I couldn't see at Goofy's (like we always see Chip and Dale at Goofy's). I wouldn't pay that much for a Character breakfast unless it's the characters I want to see. But really I think the food is pretty good at Goofy's, we've never had a complaint, and we usually always see Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Pluto, Alice, Chip and Dale ect.. Gotten some of my best character pictures there!

Between Goofy's and The Plaza I would choose The Plaza Inn. Our last 2 times at Goofy's were not worth it; the food was cold and bleh and the service was just as bad. I haven't had the Plaza Inn breakfast but the dinner food is good so I am thinking the breakfast fare would be good as well.

Wow....all these opinions are so varied.

Here's mine....

Haven't done breakfast at the Plaza Inn since it's been Minnie and Friends. We did do it back when it was a princess meal. We did not like the food. Most was cold. They did not replenish so many items were out. The omelete station took FOREVER and there were only 2 people in front of me. Since it's the same restaurant only different characters I don't think the food and service will have changed much. We won't be going back.

Goofy's is our favorite. Never had any bad food or bad service.

We just tried Lilo and Stitch last weekend and were not impressed. (See pics in the dinning review sticky). We really wished we had gone to Goofy's.

We like Minnies. We like the characters there and have no complaints about the food. The choices are not as wide spread as Goofys, but that is fine with us. I dont really want peanut butter and jelly pizza or hotdogs for breakfast anyway. The breakfast at Minnies is breakfast- omlets, ham/bacon/sausage, fried potatoes, muffins/pastries, fruit, waffles, french toast. Nothing fancy or odd, just breakfast foods.

One thing I really like about Minnies is that they plate/serve the hot buffet foods for you. I have a thing about people, especially children that arent being watched, at buffets. I've seen things be touched and put back, people sneeze, etc. Its gross. At least at Minnies you only have the cm touching your food.

And for those that are going to say I dont want to know what is going on in the kitchen, yep you are right, I dont want to know! But, what I can tell you is there are no kids with dirty hands in the kitchen of a restaurant! Yes, I do realize I have issues.

Linda, you and me both! And while I love Goofy's and all buffets, I have seen too many people do gross stuff. I remember once seeing a kid eat a bite out of a sausage and then put it back. So I do buffets, but man I am careful and like to go first thing before the masses have contaminated it! Of course I also won't touch a bathroom door knob and remove hotel bedspreads. So I have some issues too!

This is so me too. After having worked in many restaurants, I prefer to be oblivious to the germs I am ingesting. Watching little Johnny pick his nose and then touch the same serving spoon that I am going to touch is too much for me.......................and I have 3 little kids! I also remove the bedspreads and have been known to bring my own pillowcases and sheets.
