Best Charachter Breakfast

Hi there!
MY DBF and I are going to Disney in september. I went as a child frequently, and remember the charachter breakfasts at the GF fondly. I found out recently that the dining room it is held in will be closed for renovations during our visit. instead they are holding it in the GF cafe as a sit down meal instead of a buffet. I was wondering if anyone else can tell me their favorite charachter breakfast spot as we are thinking of going somewhere else. We are looking for a buffet.

Cape May Cafe at the Beach club has a great character breakfast lots of variety of food, relaxed atmosphere and lots of character interaction.

I third Cape May (glad you booked it OP). They had the best fresh fruit I have ever eaten and the rest of the food was very good too. I also loved the setting, its nice to eat there then walk or boat to MGM or Epcot. Its also much less hectic than Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace.

Early morning at the Crystal Palace is amazing. CP has wonderful food and the Pooh characters. The walk down a deserted Main Street is almost as good as the breakfast food at this establishment.

My votes would be for CM & CP.

I have an ADR for CRT this coming December and as coveted as that is, the only reason why I have it is because of 3 young girsl in the group otherwise I would pass on that one.

I give my vote to Crystal Palace.
I absolutely loved it, character interaction was great, food selection was awesome, so much to choose from...cooked to perfection.
Can't wait to go again!

Cape May Cafe' is at the beach club, THe character there are Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale. But in the words of Disney CSC!!! It really a great character breakfast!! and the buffet is to die for!
